The pirates' expressions changed drastically, and they instantly panicked, letting out hurried, low cries.
"They... they seem to be Celestial Dragons!"
"Celestial Dragons?! Is that for real?!"
"We're done for! They say attacking a Celestial Dragon will bring in a Marine Admiral!"
The men whispered frantically among themselves, not daring to step forward or flee.
Seeing their timid refusal to kneel, Shalria felt especially annoyed, her little face scrunching up.
"How dare you disobey me? I'll kill you!"
As she spoke, she casually grabbed a pistol from nearby and was about to act.
Charlos raised a hand and firmly caught her wrist. "Don't rush."
He turned to the two sisters beside him, a faint smile curling his lips. "Amira, Amina, perfect. Let me see what you've achieved after these three months of special training."
Amira and Amina exchanged a smile, their eyes brimming with confidence.
"Leave it to us."
Two figures suddenly shot forward, moving so fast that only afterimages remained.
The pirates were dumbfounded.
"Huh? Just two girls?"
Before the words had even faded, the fight was already over.
Several dull bangs rang out in quick succession.
Amira moved with graceful ease. Without even spreading her wings, she relied solely on pure speed and Haki-enhanced kicks, sending two pirates flying with one kick each.
On the other side, Amina threw a heavy punch, her fist coated in pitch-black Armament Haki as it smashed viciously into a burly pirate's chest.
The pirate did not even have time to scream before he was sent flying into the wall behind him. The wall trembled slightly as he rolled heavily down to its base, completely losing the ability to resist.
It had all happened in an instant.
The two girls turned back and bowed respectfully. "Charlos, we've taken care of them."
Seeing all the pirates sprawled on the ground, Shalria reluctantly handed the gun to Akali and pouted. "You two didn't even leave one for me..."
She swept her gaze around and locked onto a burly man in the crowd, immediately pointing at him.
"You! Get up and fight me!"
Charlos stepped forward and gently pulled her into his arms from behind. He then spoke calmly to the big man, who was trembling all over with fear. "You may leave."
How could the man dare utter another word? He immediately dropped to his knees and prostrated himself on the ground, shivering uncontrollably.
Shalria looked up at Charlos, her face full of unwillingness. "Brother, why won't you let me test my strength too?"
Charlos rubbed her head and comforted her gently. "There'll be plenty of chances later. Not now."
"Fine." Shalria answered listlessly.
After dealing with the troublemaking pirates, Charlos and his group continued onward in a grand procession, disappearing at the end of the street.
Only after they had gone far away did the residents kneeling by the roadside dare raise their heads, all of them heaving long sighs of relief.
"They're finally gone... That was terrifying."
In an unnoticed dark corner of the street.
A blond man with a thick, rugged beard and pirate attire stared at his fallen subordinates, his expression terrifyingly grim.
He was Snod, a pirate captain with some renown in this area.
He gritted his teeth and snarled, fury blazing. "Damn it! Who dared beat my men into this state? Do they really think Captain Snod is so easy to push around?"
He turned and glared at the group of underlings behind him, barking an order.
"Men, investigate immediately! Dig three feet into the ground if you have to, but find out who attacked my people!"
The underlings hurriedly lowered their heads and answered, "Yes, Captain!"
A secret investigation targeting Charlos and his group quietly began.
Charlos and his group did not linger, heading straight for the amusement park in the Sabaody Archipelago.
The moment they reached the entrance, Shalria tugged at Charlos's clothes, her eyes sparkling.
"Brother, play with me!"
"Sure." Charlos nodded readily.
Amira and Amina behind them instinctively stepped forward to follow.
Shalria immediately puffed up her cheeks and held out a hand to stop them. "No! Brother came here to play with me!"
Charlos chuckled. "Let them come too. They're nice to look at."
Shalria instantly puffed out her cheeks and stuck out her lips, muttering sulkily, "Hmph! Pervert brother! I'm pretty too!"
Amira and Amina's cheeks reddened slightly at his words. They obediently stood behind them and stopped competing for attention, simply following the group quietly.
The roller coaster slowly climbed along its track, rising and falling.
Curled up in Charlos's arms, Shalria shouted excitedly, "Wow, this is amazing! Brother, isn't it fun?"
But Charlos's gaze drifted toward Amira and Amina sitting nearby, settling on their legs as he casually murmured, "Such pale legs."
The moment he said it, a sharp pain shot through his arm.
"Ah-oo—"
Charlos jerked in pain and cried out, "Hey! Ah, that hurts! Shalria, what are you doing? Why did you bite me?"
Shalria released him, her cheeks puffed up as she glared at him furiously, her eyes full of jealousy.
Shalria frowned and demanded, "Why do you keep staring at their legs?"
Charlos answered casually, "They're nice to look at."
"But you came to ride the roller coaster with me today!"
Charlos said nothing, quietly reaching a hand toward Amira's leg.
Shalria spotted it at once and slapped the back of his hand hard.
"You're still planning to touch her?"
Amira's cheeks flushed crimson as she leaned close to Charlos's ear and whispered softly, almost too quietly to hear, "Charlos, touch me tonight. Shalria will get angry if you do this during the day."
Those words happened to reach Shalria's ears. She immediately glared angrily at the two sisters, feeling both sour and furious. I never should have let Brother bring these two vixens back!
Amina hurriedly tugged lightly at Amira's sleeve and whispered, "Sister, stop talking. We can talk after we set sail."
Amira's eyes flickered, and she immediately understood, silently closing her mouth.
But Shalria heard every word of their conversation.
Alarm bells instantly rang in her little head as she stared fixedly at the Amira sisters and secretly swore to herself.
So you two want to make a move on Brother in secret after we set sail!
Hmph! Brother Charlos is mine! No one can take him from me!
A large group of pirates blocked the entrance to the amusement park. Snod stood at the front with a long blade in hand, his face sinister.
He looked at the Celestial Dragon guard unit stationed at the entrance, his expression full of arrogance and resentment.
"Hmph, let's see who has the nerve to put on such airs."
Before his words had even faded, a dark figure suddenly dove down from the sky.
Akali landed steadily, her gaze icy as she stared directly at Snod.
"Snod."
Snod glared and shouted, "That's right, it's me! So what?"
"Pirates are to be executed on the spot."
Akali gave him no chance to say another word. Her fingertips tensed as she suddenly unleashed Finger Pistol!
The lightning-fast strike pierced precisely through his chest.
"Pfft—"
Blood sprayed out. Snod's body stiffened, and he crashed heavily to the ground, completely losing all signs of life.
Akali withdrew her finger and said indifferently, "Trash."
The remaining pirates watched their leader die in an instant and were scared out of their wits. No longer daring to act tough, they scattered in panic.
The Marines lying in wait nearby immediately reacted, shouting, "Quick! Arrest those fleeing pirates immediately!"
A squad of Marines rushed out at top speed, surrounding and pursuing the remaining pirates who were fleeing in all directions.
Inside the amusement park, Charlos quickly straightened his expression and said solemnly, "I won't touch anyone. I won't make any moves. I'm a gentleman, an absolute gentleman."
Shalria rolled her eyes dramatically and snorted. "Hmph, Brother, if you're a gentleman, then there are no indecent people left in this world."
Feigning embarrassment, Charlos turned to look outside. "Huh, why is it so noisy at the entrance?"
When he saw the chaotic scene of Marines arresting pirates outside, he remarked calmly, "So the Marines are catching people. It seems the Sabaody Archipelago really is quite chaotic."
He turned to Amira and Amina beside him and said softly, "See that? This place is full of all sorts of people and chaos. So you can only stay close to me. Being by my side is the safest place."
Amira bowed slightly and answered obediently, "Yes, Lord Charlos."
