"Who is it?"

Li Wei's expression shifted, and his eyes filled with vigilance.

The money he had hidden away was his capital for becoming independent from the orphanage in the future. If those greedy nurses and matrons discovered it, they would inevitably strip him clean.

If he didn't want to lose this money, he could only choose to fight back, and by then it wouldn't just be a matter of being chased out of the orphanage. His superpowers would be exposed, and he might very well be locked up and studied.

Yet to Li Wei's surprise, just as he prepared to burst into a sudden assault, what he saw by the moonlight outside the window was actually a fluff-feathered, chubby owl with a pair of small, bright eyes shining in the moonlight!

"Hm?"

He froze all of a sudden. Why on earth would an owl come to knock on his window for no reason?

Furthermore, he actually felt an inexplicable sense of déjà vu from this scene, which made him unconsciously walk over to the window and open it.

Flutter~

The owl flapped its wings and flew inward, landing on the coat rack beside Li Wei's bed.

Strangely enough, the owl's beak was even gripping a letter. Noticing Li Wei looking over, it dropped the letter right at Li Wei's feet.

Li Wei instantly felt that inexplicable sense of déjà vu grow even heavier; he seemed to have seen a similar scenario before.

Still, an owl delivering mail?

Although there was already one superpower user like him in this world, an owl delivering mail—such a thing was just way too bizarre, wasn't it?

Given an owl's level of intelligence, it probably required enduring long ages of training just to accomplish this, right?

After all, things like carrier pigeon delivery required prolonged domestication and training.

Puzzled in his heart, Li Wei reached out with a grab, and the letter on the ground was lifted by Telekinesis, landing in his hand.

Li Wei looked down, and upon the thick, cream-colored parchment envelope, emerald-green ink read:

Mr. Li Wei Wickens, by the bed, third room from the end on the ground floor, Wu's Orphanage, Goldfinch District, London, England.

Looking then at the wax seal on the back, a shield-like crest with a snake, an eagle, a lion, and a badger surrounding the letter "H" immediately came into view!

"Ho—holy shit!"

Li Wei was so startled that he even blurted out a curse from his hometown!

This was 1991, and that globally phenomenal children's masterpiece hadn't even been officially published by its author yet!

He had once entertained the thought of being a literary plagiarist, only to feel he lacked that writing skill and remembered only the general plot of the original work, forcing him to give up.

However, he definitely wouldn't remember the publication date of the books wrong!

That is to say...

Li Wei's breathing inevitably grew heavy. With an excited heart and trembling hands, he unsealed the envelope:

Lightning flashed across Li Wei's mind as realization dawned on him. He gripped the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry acceptance letter tightly, his voice trembling with excitement.

Right at that moment, a puff of fantastical-looking smoke drifted before his eyes.

The smoke condensed in front of him, swirling and churning before transforming into a line of text:

[Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry acceptance detected, magical fantasy world is unfolding before the host!]

[Fantasy MOD System binding...]

[Binding complete. Magic detected within the host, Wizard MOD loading, loading complete!]

Immediately after, the smoke forming the text before Li Wei rolled and tumbled, and a list of wizard occupations appeared in front of him:

[Talent]: Charms -- A (Acceptable, not the best, but better than the worst; at least you aren't a blasting-curse fanatic)

Transfiguration: E (Exceeds Expectations; trust me, you'll be the next elderly cat-girl)

Potions: T (Troll; the lavatories are far away and Snape is close by—you troll who can't brew potions, watch out!)

Magical Creature Affinity: O (Outstanding; are you a legendary elven Druid?)

Ancient Runes: O (Outstanding; what a pity you missed the good old days. In a sense, you are the primordial ancient physique of Ancient Magic!)

Dark Magic: O (Outstanding; unless you have Occlumency, the Sorting Hat will definitely sort you into Azkaban!)

Skills: Telekinesis (?) Lv. 5 (72/100)

This rapid succession of changes instantly captured all of Li Wei's attention.

He hadn't expected such a series of pleasant surprises today. Receiving the Hogwarts acceptance letter was already joyful enough!

Yet he never imagined that his cheat as a transmigrator—the system—would bind with him at the very first moment he received his acceptance letter!

Though he didn't quite understand this Fantasy MOD System yet, a system was definitely the ultimate shortcut for a transmigrator like him to achieve greatness!

At this thought, Li Wei looked at the system interface before him, holding the Hogwarts acceptance letter in his hand, and couldn't stop grinning foolishly!

Differences between grades and system evaluation levels:

Outstanding (O): This is the highest grade in the O.W.L. exams, equivalent to a straight-A top student in the Muggle world. In the Wizarding World, students who achieve an "Outstanding" grade not only receive high recognition for their academic ability, but also gain immense advantages in subsequent magical study and career development. If one wishes to take N.E.W.T. advanced classes, this grade or Exceeds Expectations (E) is usually required. For example, Hermione Granger achieved "Outstanding" in many subjects, fully demonstrating her exceptional talent and hard work in magical studies.

Exceeds Expectations (E): This grade indicates that a student's performance has exceeded expectations, possessing solid magical knowledge and skills. Generally, students with an "Exceeds Expectations" grade can continue on to N.E.W.T. classes to further study advanced magical content in depth. Students at this level also have good prospects in the Wizarding World and are qualified for many magic-related jobs.

Acceptable (A): "Acceptable" means the student's performance has met basic requirements. Although not particularly stellar, they still possess a certain level of magical ability. On rare occasions, students with an "Acceptable" grade are also able to continue with N.E.W.T. classes, though they may need to put in more effort to keep up with the course pace.

Poor (P): When a student's grade is "Poor," it indicates noticeable deficiencies in their magical studies, and they may need to retake relevant courses to consolidate their foundational knowledge and skills. Students at this level may face certain challenges in their subsequent magical studies and career development.

Dreadful (D): A "Dreadful" grade shows that a student's performance in magical studies is highly unsatisfactory, which will not only affect their academic progress but may also have a negative impact on their future employment. In the fiercely competitive Wizarding World, such a grade might cause a student to miss many opportunities.

Troll (T): This is the lowest grade in the O.W.L. exams. Described using the term "Troll," one can imagine just how terrible it is. Students who achieve this grade have virtually nothing commendable about their magical studies, and they need to re-examine their study attitude and methods to strive to improve their magical abilities.
