As the supreme leader of the Celestials, Arishem held an exalted position among them.

He could destroy a multiverse in the blink of an eye.

Yet now, an ant actually wanted to stand as his equal and form a partnership with him.

He found it laughable, but the other party's audacity also intrigued him.

Having someone to resolve the troubles in the universe on his behalf would not be such a bad thing.

After all, even those at the omniversal level had their limitations.

Otherwise, the entire infinite universe would have been destroyed in their battles long ago.

After considering it for a while, Arishem nodded and said evenly, "Very well. As long as you drive off Galactus, I will give you one universe unit of energy."

Thanos merely nodded. "Agreed. But payment first, mission second."

Although he had no idea how much energy a universe unit contained, it surely could not be a small amount if universes were the unit of measurement. Why would he refuse?
