Nightmare smiled faintly and said with pride, "Haha, I had some good luck recently and obtained an omnipotent artifact. It lets my power cross the barriers of the Omniverse.
"By the way, find an Array Formation interface, like the pillar behind me, and feed energy into it. Then you can stay here indefinitely. If we move somewhere else, this energy shield will move with us."
As he spoke, he pointed to a black pillar behind him, over ten meters long and one meter across.
Only then did Thanos realize that the pillar powered the plaza's protective shield, while its energy came from the people here.
"Got it."
After looking around, he soon spotted an Array Formation's energy interface in a corner and walked over.
He gripped the pillar, and a stream of information flowed into his mind, showing him how to use it.
One sun's worth of energy would let him stay here for a hundred thousand years. The price was reasonable.
After some thought, he fed it a third of his avatar's energy, enough for roughly ten years.
With that done, he knocked a chunk of stone loose from the rock beneath his feet and began writing on it.
"Seeking someone to make an Origin Infinity Gauntlet, a weapon, and armor."
Not long after he set down the sign, a figure wreathed in dark energy flew over.
It was Dormammu, lord of the Dark Dimension.
Dormammu landed beside Thanos. He glanced at Nightmare in the distance before asking, "What's your relationship with Nightmare?"
Thanos frowned and gave him an odd look.
Then he understood. The man had probably forgotten him.
But Dormammu's reaction differed from what Nightmare had described. He showed no hostility.
After a moment's thought, Thanos said evenly, "We're just acquaintances. Why?"
