In Thanos's dimension.
Thanos, whose true body had become a galactic black hole, studied the reports his subordinates kept sending him and fell into thought.
Besides Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, the others had quickly found the coordinates of numerous universes.
The universes here seemed barely guarded, as though they had no defenses at all.
That was different from the Dark Forest Law that governed his own Multiverse.
But as more intelligence trickled in, he began to understand.
This Multiverse had no Dimension Lords and few powerful beings. Most of its inhabitants were weak.
Someone at Superhuman Level could dominate a region, while someone at Planetary Level could become an overlord of the universe.
Had this Multiverse never been taught a harsh lesson? Was it still so naive and innocent that it felt no need to guard against Dimension Lords?
At the thought, Thanos shook his head.
Nothing came that easy. There had to be something strange about this Multiverse. He simply hadn't found it yet.
And he had yet to see any sign of the Celestials, which was highly unusual.
Cautious as ever, he stayed in the Chaos Universe instead of visiting those Reality Universes himself, sending his subordinates to invade them.
Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight were the first to conquer a star system.
After sweeping through a primitive planet, they erected a statue of Thanos and an altar there.
Then, through a sacrificial ritual, they offered up the entire star system.
Dimension Lords had two ways to devour parts of a Reality Universe.
The first was to go there themselves and seize their target.
The second was to send subordinates to conquer the place, build an altar, and perform a ritual to offer it up.
The first method meant moving his dimension over to devour the target.
