When Quicksilver saw that he was being restrained, he shouted to the Royal Guard around him, "What are you waiting for? Help me!"
The Royal Guards exchanged glances and prepared to step in.
Whatever else was going on, Quicksilver was their leader. Even if there was a problem, it was theirs to deal with. They could not let an outsider kill him in front of them.
