Ren challenged Fugaku over the Uchiha’s isolation and the proposed coup, defeated him, and became Clan Leader. After Ren confronted Danzo at Root headquarters, Hiruzen intervened and ordered Root to stop surveilling and suppressing the Uchiha, while Shisui explained Ren’s reform plans.

• Ren persuaded Shisui to help him become Clan Leader and promised to prevent a civil war, then confronted Fugaku at Naka Shrine over his leadership and opposition to the coup.
• Ren rallied the clan against Fugaku, challenged him to a duel, and defeated his Susanoo with Glazed Hellfire: Severing.
• Fugaku conceded leadership to Ren, and the clan recognized Ren as Clan Leader as the Super God Family System awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and raised the clan to LV1.
• Ren established the Uchiha Shrine, appointed its captains and Itachi as head of his Zero Squad, then welcomed Naruto to dinner after Runa brought him home.
• Ren followed Root’s agents to Danzo and confronted him at Root headquarters, where he revealed his Mangekyō ability and brought forty-three Uchiha Shrine elites to face Root.
• Hiruzen arrived and declared Ren the Uchiha Clan Leader and head of the Konoha Military Police Force, then apologized for Root’s attack as Ren demanded accountability.
• Ren ordered the Uchiha Shrine and Military Police Force to monitor Danzo and Root, and Hiruzen ordered Danzo to end Root’s surveillance and suppression of the clan.
• Hiruzen summoned Shisui, who explained that Ren had begun sweeping reforms and planned to use the Uchiha’s strength to claim their rights.

Ren strengthened the Uchiha, defied Konoha’s leadership, and forged an alliance with the Hyuga after Kumogakure targeted his clan. The Uchiha and Hyuga marched on Kumogakure, where Ren’s forces began a lightning assault on the Cloud army.

• Ren forced Hiruzen to end surveillance of the Uchiha District, then established training, research, and commercial institutions to strengthen the clan.
• Ren demonstrated the Temple Formation’s kage-level power and revealed that the Uchiha descended from Indra Ōtsutsuki, declaring that the clan would rule the Shinobi World.
• Ren used a Bloodline Tempering Potion to raise Nanami to Kage Level, while Sakura awakened a Three-Tomoe Sharingan after a Cloud Ninja attacked her and Sasuke.
• When Hiruzen and Danzō demanded that Ren surrender Itachi, Ren accused them of betraying the Uchiha and left to confront the Kumogakure delegation.
• Ren killed most of Lei Zang’s delegation and declared war on Kumogakure, while the Uchiha pledged to fight without Konoha’s help.
• Hiashi and Hizashi joined Ren against Kumogakure, and Ren led Uchiha and Hyuga forces out of Konoha to attack the Cloud army.
• After Hizashi located Raikage A’s force of three thousand, Nanami led the Temple elites in summoning vast lightning clouds over the Cloud encampment.

Ren led the Uchiha forces in an invasion of Kumogakure, defeating Raikage A and the Eight-Tails with his Mangekyō abilities. Obito intervened but was incapacitated by Itachi’s Tsukuyomi, then rejected Ren’s offer to return to the clan and threatened the Uchiha.

• Nanami and the Uchiha Temple squads harnessed the storm clouds to unleash a massive Kirin, but Raikage A cut through the Thunder Dragon and survived.
• Ren defeated Raikage A with his speed and intangibility, then devastated the Kumogakure forces with copied Storm Release and summoned Susanoo.
• Killer B arrived as the Eight-Tails and battled Ren, who nearly seized control of the beast before Killer B broke his focus.
• Ren battered the Eight-Tails into unconsciousness, but Obito emerged and kicked him away before he could control the beast.
• Ren recognized Obito and accused him of causing the Nine-Tails’ Attack and Minato Namikaze’s death, while Obito denied his identity and attacked Ren.
• Itachi arrived and trapped Obito in Tsukuyomi, torturing him until he collapsed in the real world and could not use Kamui.
• Ren offered Obito a place in the Uchiha’s rising clan and proposed joining their Mangekyō and Temple Formation to end war, but Obito refused and threatened to destroy the Uchiha.

Ren led the Uchiha into the Land of Lightning, defeating Kumogakure’s forces while the village tried to halt their advance. After learning Yaonai was missing, Ren threatened to turn against Konoha, leaving Hiruzen and the elders debating how to respond.

• Ren abandoned the pursuit of Obito, and the Uchiha forces advanced through the Land of Lightning toward Kumogakure.
• Darui’s repeated guerrilla attacks wore down the Uchiha, but Ren kept the force moving and Nanami’s Temple Formations helped it withstand the ambushes.
• Yugito Nii attacked with the Two-Tails, but Ren’s Susanoo protected the Uchiha, and Essence Pills restored the exhausted fighters.
• Ren learned Yaonai was missing and suspected Konoha’s leaders had helped abduct her, but refused to abandon the attack on Kumogakure.
• Ren demanded that Hiruzen return Yaonai within three days or face an Uchiha attack, then led the assault on Kumogakure with Lightning Clouds.
• Ren fought Killer B, Yugito Nii, and Raikage A, defeating the Raikage and overpowering both Tailed Beasts while the Uchiha attacked the village.
• Hiruzen learned that Ren’s forces had penetrated Kumogakure and that the Temple Formation made the Uchiha a major threat, while Danzō proposed taking the Uchiha District hostage and Hiruzen rejected the plan.
