Background / History

Evil Eye originated from the Universe Ocean and transcended reincarnation after his teacher, Palace Master Lihua. After becoming a Saint Realm expert, Lihua searched for him, brought him into the You Mountain Empire, and eventually saw him become a domain lord. 24

He began gaining recognition thirty-nine reincarnation eras before Luo Feng’s arrival. Upon reaching the Eternal True God realm, Evil Eye directly challenged the ruling lord of Canglan Domain. Though his close combat was then unimpressive, his chest’s fourth eye killed the opponent, who had already reached the threshold of the Saint Realm. 3

During his rule, challengers proficient in soul techniques were also defeated. Of the only two later Eternal True Gods known to challenge him, one was killed and the other was enslaved, leaving his position uncontested for countless epochs. 3 16

Evil Eye kept his origins, teacher, and true methods concealed. He secretly sought Transcendent Reincarnators, intending to enslave suitable targets, exploit their knowledge, and potentially use them in plans connected to seizing a Primal Universe. 3 20 23

Appearance

Evil Eye was a humanoid Demon Eye Clan member whose true face was usually hidden beneath surging black currents that resembled hair or fur and radiated an oppressive evil aura. He wore blood-red or blood-gold armor and projected enough malice to cause weaker observers to feel despair. 2 16 19

  • Three eyes were located on his head, while a fourth and most dangerous demonic eye was concealed in his chest. 3 21
  • His black currents normally obscured his head and facial features completely. 2 19
  • After using Purgatory Samsara Eye, the black currents vanished, exposing wrinkled black skin, a hideous mouth, and hollow-looking lower eye sockets. 22
  • His forbidden technique transformed him into a massive, pure-white fleshy eye. 21

Personality

Evil Eye was arrogant, ambitious, and contemptuous of challengers. He regarded the Azure Domain Lord position as a temporary step toward Saint Transformation, the God King Realm, and eventually founding a kingdom of his own. 18

He was also secretive and calculating. Rather than merely relying on his own strength, he enslaved opponents to acquire their techniques through replication, concealed his connection to Palace Master Lihua, and searched for reincarnation transcendents as potential tools. 20 23 24

When faced with defeat, his confidence gave way to extreme desperation. Rather than submit to Luo Feng’s enslavement, he sacrificed his future through Purgatory Samsara Eye and ultimately chose self-destruction. 21 22

Abilities & Skills

Soul Attacks and Illusions

Evil Eye’s primary reputation came from devastating soul and illusion techniques, powered by Saint-level willpower and the accumulated negative emotions he absorbed from living beings. 3 19

  • His aura induced despair and other negative thoughts in weaker beings merely through proximity. 19
  • He killed the former domain lord with a soul attack and later defeated several Eternal True Gods skilled in soul techniques. 3
  • He killed a weaker Saint Realm expert during the most recent reincarnation epoch. 17 18
  • His illusions were ineffective against Luo Feng due to Luo Feng’s Saint-level willpower and the Star Tower’s soul protection. 21

Fourth Demonic Eye

The fourth eye within Evil Eye’s chest was his most feared public weapon. Its soul attack overwhelmed targets with fear and despair, and was believed capable of killing Saint Realm experts with insufficient willpower or soul protection. 3 18 21

  • Killed the former Canglan Domain Lord, who had been halfway into the Saint Realm. 3
  • Generated an illusion of the World Beasts destroying the Universe Ocean during the battle against Luo Feng. 21
  • Failed to meaningfully affect Luo Feng, exposing Evil Eye to a counterattack. 21

Third Eye Defense

Evil Eye’s third head-eye could produce a sinister black veil around his body that neutralized Luo Feng’s Divine Eye willpower assaults. 21

  • Prevented Luo Feng from repeatedly stunning him with the same technique. 21
  • Did not protect him from sustained physical suppression, divine-power attrition, or Luo Feng’s superior treasures. 21

Replication Secret Art

Evil Eye’s true greatest reliance was the Demon Eye Clan’s innate Replication Secret Art. Once he enslaved another being, he could copy and learn that servant’s ultimate techniques and accumulated understanding. 20

  • Allowed him to turn enslaved experts into sources of combat knowledge. 20
  • Explained the vast growth of his melee ability from roughly sixth-rank strength to the Eternal True God limit. 20
  • The insights gained through replication were largely erased after Purgatory Samsara Eye was used. 22

Close-Combat Mastery

Although publicly known as an illusion specialist, Evil Eye had developed close-combat strength near the ninth rank of the Eternal True God realm. He fought Luo Feng’s near-ninth-rank Blood Shadow Blade attacks with an ordinary staff while under dual-domain suppression. 20

  • Could unleash peak eighth-rank power with staff techniques. 20
  • Exchanged thousands of strikes with Luo Feng and initially withstood Water and Fire Scorch Heaven. 20
  • His melee growth came partly from techniques copied through enslaved experts. 20

Soul Enslavement

With his powerful will and soul techniques, Evil Eye could enslave defeated Eternal True Gods. 16 20

  • One prior challenger became his most loyal subordinate rather than dying. 16
  • Azure Nether Demon Lord was secretly one of his soul slaves and died immediately when Evil Eye died. 23
  • His attempt to enslave Luo Feng failed because Luo Feng’s soul was fused with the Star Tower’s tower pearl. 22

Purgatory Samsara Eye

Purgatory Samsara Eye was Evil Eye’s one-use forbidden technique, also described as Infernal Reincarnation. It fused his soul attainments, Demon Eye Clan talents, and accumulated evil emotions into an inescapable cycle of reincarnation. 21 22

  • Bypassed ordinary soul defenses by forcing emotional and reincarnation forces directly into the target’s existence. 21
  • Trapped Luo Feng in innumerable false lives filled with guilt, fear, despair, and self-hatred. 21 22
  • Consumed Evil Eye’s future, stripped him of his Demon Eye Clan talents, and erased much of his memory and cultivation. 21 22
  • Failed to permanently break Luo Feng, who recognized the false reincarnations and awakened. 22

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Staff — An unnamed long staff used to block Luo Feng’s blade techniques; it was inferior to the God King-level Blood Shadow Blade but still supported peak eighth-rank attacks. 20
  • Xiaotao — A Saint-level scepter suited to the Wood Origin Profundity; Evil Eye could not fully display its power because he had not comprehended that profundity. 25
  • Blood God Armor — An ordinary Saint-level defensive treasure that reduced sub-Saint attacks to one ten-thousandth of their original force and Saint Realm attacks to roughly one percent. 25
  • Domain Lord Token — The token representing authority over the Azure Domain; Luo Feng refined it after Evil Eye’s death. 23

Relationships

  • Palace Master Lihua — Teacher and fellow Transcendent Reincarnator; she brought Evil Eye to the You Mountain Empire and later sought revenge against Luo Feng for his death. 24
  • Luo Feng / Galaxy — Challenger and killer; Luo Feng defeated Evil Eye in the Azure City battle zone, survived Purgatory Samsara Eye, and succeeded him as Azure Domain Lord. 20 22 23
  • Azure Nether Demon Lord — Secret soul slave; died immediately when Evil Eye self-destructed. 23
  • Montanaro — Subordinate contact who reported the suspected arrival of Luo Feng and Morosa, prompting Evil Eye’s interest in them. 2 3
  • City Lord Jing — Long-time rival who feared Evil Eye’s fourth eye and considered him effectively unbeatable before Luo Feng’s victory. 16 20

Story Role / Major Arcs

  • Search for the newcomers — Evil Eye ordered Montanaro to verify whether Luo Feng and Morosa were Transcendent Reincarnators and bring them to Azure City if confirmed. 2
  • Galaxy’s challenge — He accepted Luo Feng’s challenge after delaying it for an epoch because his true body was away on a mission. Most of Azure Domain expected him to kill or enslave Galaxy. 16
  • Battle for the Azure Domain — Evil Eye revealed his hidden peak Eternal True God melee ability and Replication Secret Art, but Luo Feng’s willpower, domains, treasures, and endurance steadily overwhelmed him. 20 21
  • Purgatory Samsara Eye and death — His forbidden technique temporarily incapacitated Luo Feng but reduced Evil Eye to the initial Void True God realm. Luo Feng awakened, prevented enslavement, and forced Evil Eye into self-destruction. 21 22
  • SuccessionLuo Feng claimed Evil Eye’s Domain Lord Token and became the new Azure Domain Lord, while Lihua began plotting revenge for her disciple. 23 24
