Afternoon sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Long Island Villa.

Wanda lounged lazily on the sofa, flicking her fingers to conjure several small red balls of light and tease Di Jiang.

The little creature fluttered its wings and chirped happily.
