Above New York
Xiao Han hovered above the clouds, his Super-Sight piercing through the atmosphere and locking onto a cloaked spacecraft approaching from afar.
Its design was sharply angular, its surface covered in some sort of optical camouflage, but it was useless against Xiao Han's X-Ray Vision.
"A Kree Empire reconnaissance ship?" he murmured, his brow furrowing slightly.
Just then, the ship's hatch suddenly opened, and a figure slowly flew out—a tall humanoid creature clad head to toe in blue armor, its eyes beneath the helmet glowing with cold red light.
"Interesting Earthling. I never expected Earth to have someone like you. Your body is unusual. Come back to the Kree Empire with me." The other party's voice came through some kind of amplifier, carrying a mechanical chill.
Xiao Han narrowed his eyes. "Sorry, Superman isn't for sale."
The Kree warrior seemed to freeze for a moment before raising an arm. An energy cannon instantly charged. "Then die."
Zzt!
A high-energy particle beam tore through the air and shot straight at Xiao Han's face!
Xiao Han neither dodged nor moved, allowing the energy blast to strike his forehead.
A blinding flash erupted, but in the next second, his figure slowly emerged from the blast wave, completely unharmed.
"That's it?" he sneered, his eyes suddenly blazing with scorching red light.
The Kree warrior clearly hadn't expected this. The systems inside his armor began screaming warnings.
He quickly retreated while activating his full-body shield.
But it was already too late.
Zzt! Boom!!
Xiao Han's Heat Vision became two crimson spears, instantly piercing through the Kree warrior's shield and armor.
A massive hole was melted through his chest, and the life signs within his armor rapidly faded.
"Im... possible..." The Kree warrior looked down at his shattered body, his voice broken and weak.
"Who... are you..."
"Superman."
Xiao Han answered calmly, then looked up at the Kree ship rapidly retreating into the distance.
"Trying to run?"
His figure instantly broke the sound barrier, lunging toward the ship like a streak of black lightning.
The Kree ship's engines roared at full power in an attempt to escape, but its efforts were meaningless before Xiao Han's speed.
One heavy punch!
Boom!!
The ship's hull caved in like papier-mâché. The entire vessel tumbled through space as sparks erupted from its internal systems.
Xiao Han floated before the ship with his arms crossed, coldly watching the panicked Kree inside the cockpit.
"Be more careful in your next life." His voice passed through the vacuum and directly entered the Kree's mind.
"Earth is my turf."
After the Kree died, Xiao Han deciphered and translated their writing, learning that his purpose had been to obtain the Tesseract.
After reading it, he raised a hand. His Heat Vision cut precisely through the ship, completely destroying its engines.
With its power gone, the Kree ship began falling toward Earth's atmosphere.
"JARVIS, track that ship's landing point." Tony's voice suddenly came through the communicator. He had just arrived at the battlefield, his armor hovering nearby.
"We need that gift!"
Xiao Han nodded and watched the ship fall toward its projected landing zone in the Atlantic Ocean.
Then he turned to Tony. "Looks like the Kree Empire is very interested in the Tesseract."
"Is that so? Looks like the armor legion needs to be moved up the schedule." Tony replied sarcastically.
"But how did they know where the gem was?"
Xiao Han pondered for a moment. "The earlier spatial fluctuations may have caught their attention."
He looked at Tony. "We need to be prepared. The Kree Empire won't give up that easily."
Tony's faceplate flipped open, revealing his serious expression. "So we just pissed off an interstellar empire?"
"More or less." Xiao Han shrugged.
"Wonderful." Tony rolled his eyes. "I knew nothing good would come from hanging around you."
Xiao Han chuckled. "Regretting it?"
"Ha!" Tony grinned as his faceplate closed again. "Just kidding. This is far more exciting than developing clean energy!"
The two hovered over New York, the city lights below glittering like stars.
The threat had appeared, but Xiao Han's eyes held only calm.
"Come on, Tony." He turned and flew toward Stark Tower. "We still have work to do."
Tony matched his speed, his armor's thrusters spewing azure flames.
"Such as?"
"Such as..." Xiao Han's lips curled slightly. "Putting an Artificial Sun in our armor."
Tony's laughter echoed through the comm channel. "Ha! Now you're talking!"
In the night, two figures streaked across the sky toward Stark Tower.
The miniature prototype of the Artificial Sun floated above the central lab table, emitting a gentle golden glow.
Tony Stark stood before a holographic display, his fingers rapidly swiping through streams of data as his brows drew tight.
"The energy output is stable, but there's still a problem with fluctuations in the containment field." He muttered, lightly tapping a parameter on the projection.
Xiao Han stood beside him, his eyes faintly glowing gold as his Super-Sight penetrated the reactor casing to observe the plasma flow inside.
"The magical resonance frequency of the Uru needs to be adjusted by another 0.3%." He suddenly spoke, pointing at a node on the hologram.
Tony raised a brow. "You can measure magic with your eyes too?"
"Used to it." Xiao Han shrugged.
Tony snorted and swiped a finger. The parameter was immediately adjusted.
The energy curve on the display instantly smoothed out, and the containment field fluctuations vanished without a trace.
"Perfect!" Tony grinned. "JARVIS, record that value. Use it directly next time."
"Recorded, sir," JARVIS replied.
"Good. Start the integration!"
Several hours later
Tony whistled, folding his arms across his chest as he appreciatively examined the two suits of armor floating in the center of the lab.
"JARVIS, activate display mode."
The laboratory lights dimmed, and the two nano armors slowly rotated within a soft blue glow.
One had Tony's signature gold-and-red color scheme, its streamlined armored surface gleaming with metallic luster.
The Artificial Sun core in its chest emitted a faint golden radiance, energy veins flowing through the armor like blood vessels.
The other was Xiao Han's exclusive armor, entirely black and covered in dense golden patterns that resembled ancient runes.
The S-shaped emblem on its chest was likewise powered by an Artificial Sun, though its energy flow was more restrained.
"Beautiful, aren't they?" Tony patted Xiao Han's shoulder.
"Both suits have a touch of magic added in, and yours has an Uru resonance frequency that perfectly matches your Biofield."
Xiao Han approached his armor and lightly touched its surface.
The nanomaterial immediately flowed like water, automatically adapting to the shape of his fingers.
"Pretty responsive." Xiao Han nodded slightly. "The energy transmission efficiency is good too."
"Of course!" Tony lifted his chin proudly.
"I fused Vibranium into the nanostructure. Combined with Uru's magical properties, this armor should theoretically withstand high-level energy impacts."
Xiao Han raised a brow. "Theoretically?"
Tony spread his hands. "All right, in practice it might still fall a little short, but at least it'll keep your armor from getting damaged when you fight enemies."
"The armor is just decoration. If a real fight breaks out, my Biofield will protect it."
Tony: ...
