Xiao Han stepped out of the portal. As his black combat boot touched the shattered asphalt, an arrow whistled straight for his throat.

Without even looking up, he flashed his eyes. The arrow turned to ash in midair.

A moment later, a beam of Heat Vision shot out and sliced Zombie Hawkeye in half behind the wrecked car.

"Clint." Xiao Han watched the former master archer's remains twitch on the ground, his rotting face still twisted with savage hunger.

But there was no time for sentiment.

The instant the portal closed behind him, the entire street suddenly fell silent for a second.

Then countless pairs of blood-red eyes turned toward him in unison.

The zombie heroes.

Captain America's rotting star-spangled uniform revealed ghastly white bones beneath it, while dried blood stained the edge of his shield.

Wolverine's Adamantium claws were strung with scraps of flesh, and a beast-like growl rumbled from his throat.

Thing's rocky hide was covered in bluish-gray corpse spots. Every step he took left cracked footprints in the ground.

"Roar!!!"

With a roar from Zombie Captain America, all the heroes lunged at once!

Captain America hurled his shield. Xiao Han stopped it with one hand, then flung it back toward Captain America's cervical spine.

With a crack, the head wearing the battered helmet twisted at an eerie angle. Yet the corpse kept charging until Xiao Han followed up with a blast of Heat Vision that completely vaporized its head.

Wolverine was the second to pounce.

"Logan, rest in peace." The light in Xiao Han's eyes blazed. His Heat Vision sliced Wolverine in half like a laser scalpel.

But Wolverine did not die. His charred lower half began writhing and regenerating, while his upper body clawed at the ground and kept crawling toward him!

"Annoying."

Xiao Han frowned. His Telekinesis field instantly expanded, pinning Wolverine's remains in midair.

Rotting organs and writhing flesh twisted within the field, yet could not break free.

The third was Thing.

A hundred-ton punch slammed toward Xiao Han's face, but it was forcibly stopped three inches from his nose by his Biofield.

"You're too slow."

Xiao Han spun and lashed out with a whip kick. A sonic boom erupted around his ankle.

Thing was struck by the tremendous force and sent flying. He smashed through three buildings in succession before finally stopping.

Zombie Human Torch dove from the sky, his entire body engulfed in eerie blue flames.

"Burn to ash!" he snarled as he lunged.

Xiao Han did not even raise an eyelid. A blast of Heat Vision pierced Human Torch's brow.

Zombie Human Torch instantly fell silent and crashed to the ground as a charred corpse.

Just as Xiao Han prepared to deal with the remaining heroes, an earth-shaking roar suddenly came from above.

"Hulk! Smash!!!"

A green giant crashed down like a cannonball!

Xiao Han did not leave his position. He knew Hulk had arrived.

He wanted to test a theory.

He crossed his arms to block. The instant two forces powerful enough to shake a continental shelf collided, the ground within a hundred meters collapsed in a spiderweb pattern.

His Biofield firmly locked the shock wave within the battlefield. Otherwise, all of Manhattan would have sunk beneath the sea from that single blow.

"Interesting. Looks like the comic-book setting really is in effect."

Xiao Han looked at Hulk before him. Though his muscles were rotting, he remained terrifying, and a battle-hungry curve formed at the corner of Xiao Han's mouth.

Scarlet light flickered in Hulk's eye sockets. Corrosive saliva dripped from the corners of his mouth, burning the ground and raising wisps of green smoke.

This was a true opponent.

Hulk swung another punch. Xiao Han neither dodged nor retreated, instead throwing a punch of his own!

"Boom!!!"

The shock wave from their colliding fists sent all the surrounding zombie heroes flying.

Xiao Han had already levitated ahead of time. His Biofield dispersed most of the impact, so he was only blown back a short distance.

Hulk, meanwhile, smashed into the building behind him, then immediately charged out with another roar.

"Mirror Dimension."

Xiao Han suddenly formed hand seals, golden sparks tracing a complex pattern through the air.

Reality shattered like glass, and all the zombie heroes, Hulk included, were pulled into the bizarre Mirror Dimension.

Twisted buildings floated all around them, and the laws of physics lost their meaning here.

"Now I can really cut loose." Xiao Han rolled his neck.

Hulk gave him no chance to catch his breath. His rotting giant fist had already slammed toward Xiao Han's face!

Xiao Han swung his own fist to meet it. The two of them became black and green afterimages in the Mirror Dimension, and every collision caused the spatial structure to tremble violently.

Hulk's rotting fist came crashing down with overwhelming force. Xiao Han dodged to the side, and the mirrored buildings behind him were instantly blasted into dust by the aftershock.

"Roar!"

Hulk opened his bloody maw, spraying green saliva everywhere.

Golden light surged in Xiao Han's eyes. His Heat Vision shot precisely into Hulk's throat, but only burned a bloodied hole that rapidly began to heal.

The target's cellular regeneration was faster than expected?

A faint smile tugged at Xiao Han's lips. "Now this is interesting."

He suddenly withdrew the restrictions on his Biofield. His right fist charged to its limit, and his Kryptonian Cells shone with dazzling golden light under the infusion of solar energy.

"Bang!"

The shock wave from their colliding fists expanded in a sphere. New York City in the Mirror Dimension collapsed layer by layer like a pile of building blocks.

Hulk was blasted several kilometers away, smashing through more than a dozen mirrored skyscrapers in succession.

Xiao Han shook his numb arm and secretly sighed. The comic-book version of Hulk really was absurd.

His own strength was almost running out. It seemed he would have to spend more time basking in the sun after he returned.

Hulk charged again!

"Bang!"

Once again, Xiao Han sent Hulk flying into the sky with an uppercut, but Hulk suddenly grabbed a floating chunk of building debris and used it to launch himself back.

Zombie Spider-Man took the opportunity to attack from the side, webbing Xiao Han's right leg.

Xiao Han swiftly turned and blasted Zombie Spider-Man's head apart with Heat Vision. At the same time, his left leg came down like a battle-ax, cleaving another ambushing zombie hero in half.

Hulk seized that fleeting opening and slammed a heavy punch toward Xiao Han's back.

Xiao Han's reaction speed had long since surpassed Hulk's. In his eyes, Hulk's fist moved as slowly as a snail.

He twisted his body in midair and delivered a vicious whip kick to the crown of Hulk's head.

"Roar!!"

Black blood sprayed from Hulk's eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, but he became even more ferocious.

He tried to wrap his arms around Xiao Han's waist, but Xiao Han caught him by the throat and shoved him through more than a dozen mirrored skyscrapers in succession.

Everywhere they passed, the spatial structure warped and split like a torn canvas.

A golden light brighter than ever before suddenly ignited in Xiao Han's eyes. "Enough."

Solar Flare!

Blazing white light erupted from every pore of his body. Hulk was struck at point-blank range, and his rotting skin instantly carbonized.

Yet incredibly, he still did not let go. Instead, he opened his bloody maw and bit toward Xiao Han's throat!

"Stubborn."

Xiao Han gripped Hulk's throat with one hand. With the other, he formed his fingers into a blade and plunged them into Hulk's chest with a wet squelch.

When he pulled his hand out, he was clutching a throbbing green heart covered in black veins.

Hulk's movements abruptly stopped.

The scarlet light in his eyes gradually dimmed. In the end, a trace of clarity flashed through them, almost like relief.

"Doctor Banner?" Xiao Han narrowed his eyes.

Hulk's lips writhed. With his last strength, he forced out a few words: "Destroy... Reed's... laboratory..."

The green giant's body crashed to the ground with a thunderous boom.

The Mirror Dimension began to collapse, and the surviving zombie heroes turned into wisps of black smoke.

Xiao Han stood in the void, staring at the heart in his palm as it gradually stopped beating.

"I'll head to the underground laboratory beneath the Baxter Building."

[Sir, I've locked onto the coordinates, but I've detected an abnormal energy reaction.] JARVIS had already connected to Xiao Han's multifunctional wristwatch, and its voice sounded somewhat grave.

[Recommendation...]

"Recommendation rejected." Xiao Han crushed the heart, and a new portal opened before him.

"Let's go see what that con artist has been up to this time."
