Forsaken Land of the Gods
A figure silently appeared, as if he had stepped out of the darkness.
He wore a black trench coat and a top hat. Reaching into the void, he pulled out a horse lantern.
The lantern illuminated a face.
He had a scholarly air, yet his facial features were cold and sharp. It was Mr. Fool, Klein.
He looked up at the expanse of frozen grayish-white mist several hundred meters ahead.
The mist connected to the earth and stretched all the way into the sky, as though it led directly to the Astral World.
At the same time, it extended endlessly to either side.
Klein stared at it intently for a long time before letting out a breath.
"It's here."
The light from the horse lantern in his hand suddenly turned deep crimson. Then, the lampshade shattered, and a stream of deep crimson flames rose from within.
Two figures emerged from the flames.
One was a young gentleman in a black formal suit and top hat, carrying a White Bone Scepter.
The other was a teenage boy with black hair, yellow skin, and relatively flat features.
Klein glanced at the boy, somewhat surprised.
"This is?"
The ones who had emerged from the flames were naturally Sifa and Lin Rui.
"This is Lin Rui."
Sifa smiled. "He comes from the West Continent and will be an important guide for us."
Then he introduced Klein to Lin Rui.
"This is Mr. Klein."
