In his haze, Sifa seemed to hear the cry of a Sea Eagle. Then he saw two not particularly large Red-headed Sea Eagles circling in the sky. He saw the clear sky and white sails.
As his gaze lowered, he saw soldiers in naval uniforms busying themselves on deck, some washing the deck, others sorting equipment.
At the sight of this scene, Sifa suddenly realized that he was dreaming.
"Sergeant Abrio, the captain wants to see you."
A voice sounded behind Sifa. When he turned his gaze back, he saw a soldier saluting him.
"Understood." Then Sifa heard a voice that did not belong to him.
When he passed by a window and saw the reflection of a young man with short blond hair and the beginnings of a beard, he finally confirmed that he was having that dream about "Abrio" again.
Come to think of it, these dreams seemed to be continuous and progressive.
Sifa remembered that in the previous dream, Abrio had still been a blacksmith. He had killed several pirates in a small town and accomplished the feat of saving a beauty from danger. Later, his romantic rival, Lieutenant Connor, had come knocking. Not only had he given him the bounty, he had also invited him to join the navy.
Now Abrio was already a sergeant. It seemed he had been in the navy for quite some time.
The scene before Sifa's eyes kept changing, finally settling on a captain's cabin. It was lavishly furnished, with thick carpeting on the floor and a sea chart spread across the table. Lieutenant Connor looked the same as ever. He had been studying the chart, but raised his head at the sound of footsteps.
"Sergeant Abrio, how long have you been in the navy?" the officer asked with a smile.
