Angelic of Fantasy, Adam!
The divine incarnation of the Ancient Sun God, the mastermind behind many events in the Fourth Epoch, a super veteran with 800 minds.
Luo Lin raised an eyebrow but didn't panic at all. He wasn't even surprised that Adam would appear here. He just smiled and said with a sigh, "What a lively scene!"
"Adam!" Medici also saw Adam emerge from the air, his eyes instantly turning cold.
However, whether due to his own strength or the presence of the Ancient Sun God, Medici clearly restrained himself and did not make any rash moves.
Adam, however, didn't look at them. He merely raised his gaze to the Ancient Sun God, their similar yet different eyes meeting at that moment.
Time seemed to stand still, or perhaps it didn't.
The Ancient Sun God sighed and spoke first, "Why?"
"It's a necessary sacrifice." Adam clearly understood what the Ancient Sun God was asking. He looked at his past self and said calmly, "Some things were already irreversible the moment you fell. I'm just doing what I should do."
Upon hearing this, the Ancient Sun God closed his eyes, appearing sad, tired, and angry. But finally, he opened his eyes, looked at Adam, and said, "Perhaps you are right, but..."
"As the master they serve, I should at least do something."
Adam remained noncommittal.
"Gentlemen, one minute is almost up. Please be mindful of the time." Luo Lin interjected at this moment. His gaze remained fixed on Adam. While the Ancient Sun God and Medici were communicating in code, he suddenly asked with great interest:
"Mr. Adam, you always talk about necessary sacrifices. If one day sacrificing yourself could save this world, would you be willing?"
Adam looked at Luo Lin. His golden eyes held neither joy nor sorrow. He simply nodded and said, "If the sacrifice is useful, of course, I would do it."
Luo Lin then smiled. He saw that the Ancient Sun God had finished his whispered conversation with Medici, and the minute was up.
"See you next time, Mr. Grisha." Luo Lin bid farewell enthusiastically.
"See you next time, Mr. Luo Lin." As soon as the Ancient Sun God's voice fell, he vanished.
In the blink of an eye, only five people remained in the underground structure: Sauron Einhorn Medici, Adam, and Luo Lin.
"Should I be scared? Gentlemen, it seems I'm the easiest to bully here now." Luo Lin said this, but his expression didn't look scared at all. Instead, he seemed eager.
Adam glanced at Luo Lin. He naturally understood what the other party was eager for – this madman was hoping they would make a move so he could take them all down with him.
"Perhaps you need a psychologist. Would you like me to recommend one for you?" Adam asked gently.
"Tch, you're no fun at all..." Luo Lin pouted, then smiled and said, "But I don't need a psychologist. I think I'm quite normal."
Luo Lin truly believed this. Compared to the various lunatics in this world, what was his slight abnormality?
"Tsk, you two lunatics have started chatting." Medici interjected at this moment, his tone as sarcastic as ever.
"Mr. Medici, is it possible that split personality is also a disease? So, we have three lunatics here." Luo Lin looked at him and said seriously. After thinking, he corrected himself, "Oh, no, five."
Medici almost rolled his eyes. Sauron and Einhorn laughed heartily.
"I'm starting to like this kid a bit!"
"Exactly, five lunatics. We're all lunatics, hahaha! Are there any high-sequence individuals in this world who aren't crazy?"
Just then, the colors around them suddenly distorted, and a figure in a flaxen robe appeared before them.
It was a beautiful young man with long silver-white hair and matching eyes, and large wings with inherent special effects on his back. He was Uroboros, the Angel of Fate who once followed the Ancient Sun God and now followed the True Creator.
Uroboros had clearly come here under the True Creator's orders. His gaze first fell on Adam, his expression showing a hint of vigilance. He then looked at Luo Lin and nodded slightly, "Mr. Luo Lin, my Master asked me to send His regards to you. He is looking forward to your future cooperation."
"I am also looking forward to it." Luo Lin smiled, his smile bright and gentle.
Uroboros then looked at Medici behind him. He suddenly fell silent, his expression a mix of sadness and joy.
After more than a thousand years, the Angel of Fate finally saw his old friend again.
"Hey, big snake, what's with that expression? Are you going to cry? Are you a child?" Medici curled his lips, his opening remark dripping with sarcasm. "You don't look like you've restarted either!"
Uroboros, however, was not angry. He simply examined Medici carefully and then said earnestly, "It's good that you're still alive." His tone carried a hint of joy at finding something lost.
Along the way, Uroboros had lost too many familiar people: the fall of the Ancient Sun God, the disappearance of Saslier, the betrayal of the Three Gods, the defection of Amon and Adam...
Uroboros, who once had many friends, could now only pray alone by the True Creator's side. Although he didn't dislike his current life, having an old friend still made Uroboros happy.
"Tch! Don't worry, even if you fall, I won't die easily..." Medici's expression stiffened for a second at Uroboros's directness, then he "Tch'd" and said.
"This move is called a direct hit on a tsundere. It's true that natural airheads can overcome the cunning!" Luo Lin provided commentary from the side, looking like he was enjoying the show and not afraid of trouble.
"Adam has already left. Why are you still here?" Medici, teased by the remark, looked at Luo Lin unhappily and asked.
"I know this reference, it's Snow Leopard!" Luo Lin spoke gibberish that Medici couldn't understand, but he wasn't surprised by Medici's mention of Adam leaving.
In fact, Adam had already disappeared when Uroboros greeted Luo Lin, whether he had truly left or temporarily dissolved into the air was unknown.
In any case, Luo Lin acted as if he wasn't there.
Luo Lin just smiled at Medici and said, "Of course, I'm still here. After all, I haven't achieved one of my goals today!"
"What goal?" Medici raised an eyebrow and looked at Luo Lin, asking.
"I want to invite Mr. Medici to have hot pot with me. Please, this is really important to me." Luo Lin clasped his hands together in a prayer-like gesture.
Medici suddenly remembered the dark joke Luo Lin had told earlier, and he was so amused he was almost angry. Gritting his teeth, he said, "You... are very good!"
