"Of course." Klein naturally had no reason to refuse. He briefly introduced Luo Lin to the rules of the Tarot Club before materializing a stack of cards. "You may choose one as your codename."
Luo Lin's gaze swept across the Tarot Cards before him, excluding the three major arcana already taken—the Fool, Justice, and the Hanged Man. His eyes paused on the World card. Though he was somewhat tempted to choose it out of sheer mischief, he ultimately decided to leave the double act to Klein himself and drew another card instead.
It was the Emperor card!
"Emperor. I choose the Emperor card."
Luo Lin had originally wanted to choose Lovers, since that card corresponded to the Theft pathway. But considering that he was single, choosing that codename seemed a little too unfriendly. In the end, he chose his second favorite: Emperor.
"Alright." Klein naturally had no objections to Luo Lin's choice. He gave a slight nod, dismissed the manifested cards, and said, "Without my permission, do not reveal my existence or the existence of the Tarot Club to anyone else."
If he did not specifically stress it, Klein truly feared that one day he would discover that the Fool and the Tarot Club had become common knowledge.
"Huh? Not even my teacher?" Seemingly not expecting this, Luo Lin froze for a moment before asking cautiously.
"No." Klein shook his head with a smile.
"...Okay." Luo Lin responded pitifully. Then, as if he had thought of something, he looked at Klein with curiosity and asked, "Mr. Fool, is Klein also a member of the Tarot Club?"
"He is a prospective member of the Tarot Club." Klein answered without changing expression. Although he had yet to figure out how to create an alt account, Mr. Fool had long entertained the idea.
