At the Tarot Club, the members were trading information about the Ancient Gods' Subordinates.

When the Hermit, Odys, described the current state of the Giant King's son, the God of Honor, the others turned to look at the Sun, Derrick.

Derrick paused before realizing what they meant. The Hermit said the God of Honor still wandered the Forsaken Land of the Gods after his fall because of a curse. Are they asking whether I know about it?

He thought back, then said, "The area where the God of Honor wanders isn't near the City of Silver."

Behind the Gray Fog, the Fool, Klein, considered this. Of course. A cursed Angel would have a tremendous effect on his surroundings. If he were near the City of Silver, the city might have perished long ago.

The others soon reached the same conclusion and looked back at the Hermit, waiting for him to continue.

Odys went on. "We discussed Aloria, the Blood Ancestor's Subordinate Deity and the Goddess of Beauty, earlier. She was most likely a Sequence 1 Archangel of the Moon Pathway.

"After the Blood Ancestor fell, she joined the Elf King.

"The Elf King later fell too. During the Third Epoch, when humans dominated, she and the Sanguine vanished from public view.

"When she next appeared publicly, it was the Fourth Epoch. She had become the Night Emperor's empress. She took part in the War of the Four Emperors and fell during it."

Emlyn sat bolt upright. He wanted to tell the Hermit that this was a sweeping chapter of history and deserved a thorough account.

But what the Hermit said next quickly caught his attention.

"The Blood Ancestor had another Subordinate Deity called the Goddess of Life," the Hermit said. "She fell alongside the Blood Ancestor, and her true name
