Odys was using "Ten Suns in the Sky" against a Blood Archduke. When the tenth "sun" appeared, the Blood Archduke was compressed into a tiny ball, then vanished from ordinary sight.
Soon, the Blood Archduke felt a heat unlike anything he had ever known and saw the brightest light imaginable!
The fusion process was complete. Every microscopic particle in the Blood Archduke's body had been affected, drawn irresistibly toward union.
But the force pulling him together soon disappeared, and the Blood Archduke's body returned to its original shape.
He still looked like a handsome human, but he knew perfectly well that his body had been ruined.
Spurt!
Blood suddenly shot from his chest. Then another stream burst from his shoulder, followed by his thigh, back, and head. Soon his entire body was spraying great torrents of blood like a fountain.
Once all ten suns had appeared, their combined power underwent a transformation, relentlessly burning and purifying every trace of corruption and evil on the earth.
Even Bernadette felt tremendous pressure from the Pale Death on her face. She had no choice but to remove the mask and find shelter from the scorching sunlight.
The Blood Archduke fighting her immediately turned into a mass of black liquid and seized the chance to escape.
In the distance, the natives began worshipping the suns, their minds gradually clearing.
Whoosh!
The thick wooden posts erected in every village suddenly caught fire together. From within the flames came what sounded like unwilling roars.
The crew of the Dawn stared at the sight, dumbfounded. Several suns were spinning across the sky. It was overwhelming!
Bathed in sunlight, Odys watched the Blood Archduke's body rapidly break down. Vast quantities of blood poured out,
turning the entire valley into a sea of blood.
But the suns soon evaporated
