Klein recalled some rumors he had heard from Ailan, captain of the White Agate. He gave Abner a polite smile and asked, "Do you plan to teach her yourself?"

Though Abner couldn't read Klein's thoughts because of his Clown abilities, he could easily guess what Mr. Fool was thinking. His conduct was perfectly aboveboard, but his reputation did have a few blemishes.

That's a relief... Though Miss Magician is so lazy that she and Melissa might not get along. Then again, if Melissa picks up some of the better parts of her character, I won't have to worry about her getting into trouble.

As for the other friend The Tower mentioned... Miss Hazel? Miss Jane? Or Miss Fanny or Miss Emma, whose names I've only heard? There are too many possibilities... It's hard to tell.
