Dwayne Dantès... If I remember right, Klein based that character on Captain Dunn in the original story. I never expected Dunn to actually play him this time.
Still, it's not a bad plan. He's entering church circles months early and even marrying a Beyonder bishop. That's a much better start than Klein had in the original story.
And it feels more natural this way. Dwayne Dantès appeared rather abruptly in the original story, without enough groundwork.
I just don't know what the Goddess hopes to achieve by giving Klein this mission...
Is she testing Klein? Or setting something up around Dunn?
As he pondered this, Abner understood why Klein had told him the plan: Klein wanted to know whether it aligned with the Goddess's wishes.

After that, Klein considered handing the Book of Calamity directly to Mr. Tower. On second thought, it would be inappropriate for him to bring it up. Better to let Mr. Fool say it himself at the Tarot Club meeting.
After all, the book had already been placed beside Mr. Fool at the last meeting. It made no sense for Klein, as his blessed, to decide what to do with it.
