Beneath the Spiritual Sky, composed of seven clear radiances of different colors that contained infinite knowledge, Abner and Audrey rode a manifested Mind Dragon and began their adventure.
Lights and shadows from the Sea of Collective Subconscious occasionally swept past them. Some contained ancient memories scarred by fire, while others bore the utmost agony suffered from staring directly at indescribable things...
Besides imprints from ancient times and from their forebears, Audrey also saw admiring gazes directed at herself and folk customs devoted to worshiping Dragons.
Before long, they flew over the path Audrey had traversed on foot last time and approached an ash-white mountain whose peak was shrouded in mist, clear yet dreamlike.
"It's in one of the caves on this mountain... but it looks somewhat different from when I came here last time... I can't find the marker I made..." Audrey, seated on the Dragon's back, gazed downward for a long while and frowned.
Abner was not surprised by this. After all, they were within the collective subconscious, and people's thoughts changed every moment. A week had passed, so minor differences were perfectly normal.
After giving it some thought, he took two items he had prepared long ago from his pocket. One was a flattened Golden Chalice, and the other was a yellowish-brown parchment book.
If the person Audrey had encountered before really was the Queen of Calamity, then these two items should have some sort of connection to her.
When Audrey saw the book with the words "Book of Calamity" written in Elvish, she was immediately surprised, for it had previously been placed beside Mr. Fool.
In other words, Mr. Fool had actually been watching this expedition between Mr. The Tower and me?
At that thought, Audrey perked up and became even more excited.
