Arven had barely finished shouting.
Several boulders, each half as tall as a person, whistled past behind him!
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The massive rocks whipped up a fierce wind, tossing his hair into disarray. Sensing danger, he ducked at once.
"Whoa!"
"Gao!" "Gah!"
Miraidon and Cyclizar cried out in alarm too.
Then a scream came from up ahead.
"Dree!!"
Arven looked up and saw the huge bird that had attacked them flying away as though a missile were chasing it.
Beside him, Baimu sneered. "If it likes rocks so much, I'll make sure it gets its fill!"
The attack had brought out his vicious side.
Miraidon trembled, instinctively remembering the beating Dragapult had taken.
Cyclizar was still too frightened by the rocks to get back on its feet.
"Why did it run?" Arven asked.
"It got hit. Of course it ran. If I'm right, it's gone to eat the Herba Mystica."
Baimu crouched and patted Steelix's head. "Fly slowly. If it tries to escape, drive it farther away. We're after the Herba Mystica."
"Gong!"
Giant Steelix suppressed its anger and pursued the fleeing Titan Pokémon.
The Open Sky Titan was a Bombirdier.
Bombirdier amused itself by dropping objects from high above, especially ones that made loud noises when they landed. It was a Flying- and Dark-type Pokémon.
"Oh, right!"
Arven pulled out a purple book and rapidly flipped through it. "It says here that Titan Pokémon eat Herba Mystica to strengthen their Meal Power!"
"Meal Power?" Baimu paused.
Arven nodded. "Apparently, it's a mysterious power hidden in food. It can do all sorts of amazing things, and adding Herba Mystica really brings it out!"
Meal Power...
Could that be why Sandwiches glow?
He quickly connected it to the question that had baffled him for so long.
The Open Sky Titan
