Baimu broke into a smile, stood, and stretched. "Let me show you what I can do."
Back in Kitakami, he had mostly relied on Ogerpon to keep the three of them in line.
The Porygon Phone had rarely needed to step in, let alone the Rhyperior he'd borrowed.
So the Loyal Three still thought of him as a strong-bodied human with no end of tricks up his sleeve. They had no other reason for challenging Baimu; they just wanted to show off.
Old friends who hadn't seen each other in centuries were bound to catch up and show how much they'd changed!
It was like saying, "Look how skinny I am now," after losing weight, or "Check out my arms. Want to arm-wrestle?" after building muscle.
But...
In the woods outside town,
Baimu held out a dozen or so assorted Poké Balls to the three members of the Loyal Three and smiled. "Choose your opponent!"
"Chi?"
Munkidori pointed curiously at Alolan Meowth, Scream Tail, and Miraidon.
Couldn't they choose one of them?
"Oh, them."
Baimu half-turned toward his three bewildered reserve team members. "They aren't really my main team yet. You'll have more fun battling one of my regulars, won't you?"
"Woof!"
Okidogi flexed his muscles. It didn't matter who he fought.
Fezandipiti, meanwhile, believed his Pheromone could charm anyone, male or female. No Pokémon could withstand his allure.
The three soon chose their opponents.
Okidogi would lead off.
Showing off his bulging muscles, he suddenly threw back his head and howled.
"Awooo—"
In the blink of an eye,
his height, already not far off Baimu's, shot up until he had become a giant dog-man!
By a rough estimate, he stood over three meters tall!
His grayish-purple tongue hung out as he
