The two exchanged cheerful compliments while Liu Ge sipped his tea with a disdainful look.
Shan Ren had initially proposed that Liu Ge serve as both mayor of Pyrite Town and president of the Rainbow Group, with Flobo as deputy mayor and vice president.
Liu Ge had refused.
His real identity was a Pokémon League investigator. Taking on all those roles would mean working three jobs at once!

Besides, he strongly suspected Shan Ren had done it on purpose!
He'd heard that Shan Ren trained Pokémon almost every day. Liu Ge didn't think he had time to spare, either.
The newly appointed Pokémon League chairman would only be busier than him.
"Come on! Let's battle!"
Liu Ge finished his tea and stood.
Holding the well-behaved Ogerpon's hand, Baimu called to Scream Tail, who was poking around nearby. "Stop playing. Look how quiet Ogerpon is!"
"Yia!"
"We're having a battle!"
"Ya? Ya!"
The battle-loving Scream Tail's angry expression vanished, replaced by excitement.
Come to think of it, this was Baimu's first battle against Liu Ge. They'd never found the chance before.
Flobo watched with delight and even had his Porygon Phone turn on its camera.
"Boss! Put up a good fight! Don't
