Why had it come to Orre? Could Mew's departure have something to do with it?
Baimu looked up at the sky, lost in thought.
What made him even more curious was which Mewtwo had come to Orre. After all, there were two in the anime.
The first was Original Mewtwo, created by Team Rocket, which had seized New Island and ruled it as king.
The second was Unova Mewtwo, apparently created by scientists in Unova. It was kinder and more willing to help others.
Their telepathic voices were noticeably different—one sounded male, the other female.
Unova Mewtwo could also Mega Evolve on its own, a power it had used to defeat an army of man-made Genesect.
"They are heading toward Paradise."
Calyrex was certain the other party had heard its warning. It turned to Baimu. "I shall go and see—"
"I'm coming with you!" Baimu said without hesitation.
Calyrex paused. "...Very well."
The man and the deer set off.
To Baimu's surprise, their quarry was not moving quickly. Black Horse King and Miraidon soon caught up with the conspicuous group.
Both sides stopped in a secluded, quiet canyon.
There were many places in Orre that neither humans nor Pokémon had set foot in. This was one of them.

When Baimu saw that familiar figure and the many Pokémon behind it, he finally understood why they had caught up so quickly.
Mewtwo had brought its entire entourage.
From opposite clifftops, neither side spoke. They silently studied each other.
"Why are you following us?"
