The Mew Project.
A special project established to explore Border Island and uncover the mysteries of Mew, the world's most enigmatic Pokémon.
Its leaders were Doctor Hodaka and his two students, Asahi and Kieran.
Two years ago, when Baimu had sought to capture Regieleki and Regidrago, he had happened to meet them and joined them in their plan to capture the Hoenn Legendary Giants.
In the end, he had taken the Legendary Giants for himself, and they remained with him to this day.
When Baimu had participated in the World Championships, Doctor Hodaka had considered their manpower shortage and publicly recruited new members worldwide.
Five people had currently been confirmed—
Kieran, Asahi, Gary, Shiyang, and Baimu.
Huh?
Something seemed off about that number.
Baimu vaguely remembered that the Mew Project had originally had one more member.
Asahi explained, "Gary and Shiyang had the two highest stamp counts, which was why we chose them. Shiyang in particular had earned Virizion's recognition."
So the team had been downsized!
Baimu suddenly understood and thought it was probably his fault again.
Because he had promised Doctor Hodaka that he would participate in the Mew Project and explore Border Island with everyone.
So Doctor Hodaka had reduced the original required number by four and reserved a spot for him.
For a moment, Baimu did not know what to say.
Besides, he had already met Mew. That little guy had even introduced him to a Mewtwo, so in a sense, there was no real need—
Forget it. Since he had promised, it would not be right to back out halfway so casually.
What if the Mew on Border Island was not the same one he knew?
"I might still need some time."
Once Baimu returned to Orre, he would have plenty to keep him busy.
