The Game Protagonist

Under Flobo's introduction, Baimu met the reinforcements sent by the International Police.

"Hello, I'm Leo."

A young man with a beige afro topped by silver sunglasses, a white marking above the bridge of his nose, and a strange blue coat extended his hand to him.

"Hello, Baimu."

Baimu shook his hand, but his heart began racing again.

Flobo smiled and introduced Leo's background. "Many years ago, he joined Team Snagem and became one of its key members.

"Later, he turned over a new leaf and cut ties with Team Snagem. He successfully crushed Shadow Team, whose influence once spread throughout Orre, and defeated Eya, Silicon Beryllium City's original mayor. He is now a member of the International Police."

Leo!

As someone who had played the Colosseum series, how could Baimu not know this game protagonist? But the environment he was in differed too greatly from the games, leading him to believe Leo did not exist.

He had not expected Leo to be real. It was simply that the game's timeline had taken place much earlier.

"Ejin is Eya's—"

Baimu looked at Flobo.

"Ejin and Eya are cousins. He inherited Eya's evil assets and reformed the remnants of Shadow Team, allowing many of its members to transform into figures who could operate openly."

Leo took the initiative to explain his confusion. "I came this time to completely resolve the remnants of Shadow Team as well."

Baimu nodded.

Though he had already suspected as much, learning that Ejin truly was related to Eya still surprised him. At first, he had thought Ejin was Eya's counterpart from a parallel world...

"Wait! You mean you came to deal with Ejin's forces?"

He spoke in surprise.

He had not grasped it at first, but thinking about it carefully, was that not exactly what Leo meant?
