But throughout Hoenn, and even the entire Pokémon world, she was incredibly famous.
She was a Pokémon Contest idol who had appeared in plenty of hit dramas. She was one of the leads in the morning drama Mawile had recently been watching, and Baimu had been forced to follow along, so he knew Lisia inside and out.

Now that he thought about it, perhaps Mawile's desire to enter a Pokémon Contest had something to do with her influence.
Realizing she had been recognized, Lisia did not immediately remove her disguise. Instead, she alertly looked around, lowered her mask slightly, and made a shushing gesture.
"Keep it down! If my fans find out I'm here, I'm done for... Ah! Don't tell me you're one of my fans too!"
she said in surprise.
Baimu bent down and picked up the bewildered Mawile. "No, she's the one who's your fan. Since we happened to run into you, could I trouble you for an autograph?"

Mawile froze at first, then struggled free from her Trainer's hands, somewhat displeased by his presumptuous overstep.
How could a lady be picked up like that! And she still had not settled the score with him for messing up her hair earlier!
Still, thanks to the chance to meet Lisia's gaze at eye level just now, she finally realized who stood before her.
A small thrill inevitably rose in her heart.
