Under the guidance of the Lavaridge Gym Leader,

Scent Sister set off for a Pokémon Gym with less demanding requirements.

[You heard the Lavaridge Gym Leader say that a new city called Mauville City had been founded to the east. People from far and wide were heading there, and you couldn't wait to set off.]

She might have been eager to leave,

but as soon as Scent Sister entered the forest, she went right back to tending the sick and injured.

This time, she had another assistant: Bellossom. They had not been together long, but Bellossom and Roselia worked remarkably well as a team. One bound patients with Leech Seed, while the other sedated them with Sleep Powder.

The whole process flowed smoothly and effortlessly.

Sometimes, less-than-friendly wild Pokémon wandered by during treatment. The two would promptly defeat them. Even Ursaring and Aggron proved no match for them.

That was partly thanks to Scent Sister's Blue Talent, Well-Bred. Besides being a Pokémon doctor and Fragrance Essence developer, she was an excellent Pokémon breeder.

Roselia was a Sword God of Shili Slope in its own right, while Bellossom had managed to reach its final evolution in the wild. Together, those factors made them formidable fighters, as battles with other trainers would soon show.

There did not seem to be a rule yet that locking eyes meant a battle. But Scent Sister knew she had little experience battling other people, so whenever she met an unfamiliar trainer, she would approach and ask for a match.
