Meanwhile, after leaving Motostoke, the Psychic set his sights on Hammerlocke. Before that, though, he needed to find Max Mushrooms. He also had a new Pokémon to train, as usual: Galarian Slowpoke. He could use the Galarica Twigs he had bought while he was at it.
The narration explained that during his few idle days in Motostoke, the Psychic had researched Galarian Slowpoke and Max Mushrooms. He had also visited a local supermarket and bought Galarica Twigs, the special material needed for Galarian Slowpoke's evolution.
Max Mushrooms, however, grew only near Power Spots, making them extremely rare.
There had been numerous reports of Wild Dynamax Pokémon in the Wild Area, though. Rumor had it they were caused by temporary Power Spots created by some unknown influence.
