Though the restaurant advertised its chef's training under the renowned Lokomoko, it could leave customers satisfied even without magical Shining Cuisine.

Baimu enjoyed the thrill of having his taste buds awakened. Hydreigon and Shiny Gengar, however, had complaints.

Because of Hydreigon's size, the way it moved, and the way it ate, the doorman once again politely apologized and refused to let it in. Hydreigon was so furious it nearly burned the restaurant down.

Shiny Gengar's overly hefty build almost kept it from getting through the door, too—

Baimu didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Expecting a restaurant that wasn't Pokémon-themed to meet a Pokémon's needs was wishful thinking. In the past, he would usually turn around and leave when a restaurant barred Pokémon. Over time, he had learned to accept it.

Sometimes the circumstances simply made it impractical. Other times, it was about giving guests a pleasant experience.

Not everyone wanted to eat beside a Muk, a Gloom, or another Pokémon with a pungent smell. Singling out those Pokémon, though, could look discriminatory.

So why not ban them all?
