The trainers and their Pokémon stared blankly at the unknown trainer who had appeared on the cliff, and at Registeel and Regice beside him.

The Pokémon hunters spun around to look at Regirock. The trainers had already shouted for everyone to scatter.
Regirock raised its massive stone arms. The dots on its face flashed in an H-shaped pattern as destructive energy gathered above its head, forming an orange-red sphere like the sun. The air around it seemed to warp, ripples spreading outward.
"Bzz, bzz—rgh! Gii!"
BOOM!!
An orange-red beam, wreathed in a red energy halo, tore through the air. Its terrifying roar sounded like thunder ripping the sky apart. Everything in its path turned blinding white.
Rocks large and small crumbled to dust in an instant.
Several Pokémon hunters reacted too slowly. Unable to maneuver their vehicles out of the way, they vanished into the terrifying beam as though they had melted.
