Baimu cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted to the Sableye still lingering by the distant cave.
Sableye had wanted to see them farther off.
But it had run into a sun even more enthusiastic than itself.
After spending years inside the cave, Sableye's tolerance for sunlight had dropped to zero.
The moment it stepped outside, it could barely see what was in front of it.
It could only cling to the rocks at the cave entrance, watch Baimu and Aggron's figures grow smaller, and wave goodbye.
"Sable! Sable!"
It knew it would miss them.
It would miss this hard-won encounter.

Baimu and Aggron wandered without a destination. Baimu suddenly sighed. "A Sableye shop... Wouldn't it be great if we had one back home? We could find it a companion, too."
The Wild Pokémon around Platinum Silver Mountain were numerous and varied. He had spotted a few Sableye while taking stock of them before.
He didn't know their sexes, but one of them might well be female.

Aggron laughed mercilessly and only stopped when Baimu gave it a hard punch.
It loved seeing its Trainer get flustered and angry when it teased him. Not out of any mean streak, but because that side of him was reserved for it.
With the others, their Trainer usually acted like an overworked head of the family whose word was final.
