Type: Null slid backward, kicking up a great cloud of sand.
"Rrr—"
"Silvally!"
Gladion shouted urgently, and Type: Null struggled with all its might.
"Rrr!"
At last, it got back on its feet.
Like Mewtwo, Type: Null was an artificial Pokémon born with considerable strength. But it was far more attached to people, and it trusted its trainer's calls more readily.
Of course, if it spent all day wondering, Who am I? Where am I? What am I supposed to do?
It probably wouldn't listen so obediently, either.

Unfortunately, Baimu wasn't in the habit of giving opponents that chance.
Unless a Pokémon evolved mid-battle, strength that could only be shown when an opponent allowed it meant nothing to him.
"Close in!" Baimu ordered.
Regirock obediently charged toward Type: Null with a string of heavy thuds.
"Bzzzz!"
Its buzzing rang out across the field.
