Cold rain pattered down, drawing a distinctive scent from the earth and grass.
Beside a boulder on the lakeshore.
Baimu lounged in a camping chair, shelling peanuts. Beside him, Shiny Gengar held up a large black umbrella against the drizzling rain.
A thunderclap split the air.

In an instant, heaven and earth shook, and blinding white lightning filled the sky!
Countless jagged silver serpents raced into Regieleki's body. The twelve long cords on either side had coiled into pointed cones that aimed straight at the sky like lightning rods.

Electricity crackled as brilliant light burst from within it, illuminating Ballimere Lake beneath the clouds before quickly fading.
"Beep, beep, beep! Le! Gi! Le!"
It bounced about happily, like a delighted lightbulb.
Gengar watched in silence, then found a grin spreading across its face. For a moment, it wanted to dash into the rain and join the fun.
But it held back.
Gengar knew Regieleki was drawing in lightning for a little snack. If it barged in, it would only get struck. It had no way to find out what lightning tasted like.
Besides, it had to hold the umbrella for its trainer!
"Gah~"
"Here."
Baimu scooped up the roasted peanuts he had shelled in his lap and tipped them all into Gengar's cavernous mouth. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a pink figure waving to them from far away.
He stood. "Blissey's calling us. Time to head back."
"Gen~"
Gengar's cheeks bulged as it crunched away.
Peanuts tasted best when its trainer shelled them!
The two packed up and strolled across the muddy grass toward Regieleki, which seemed to be standing on an electric guitar that buzzed incessantly beneath it.
"Let's go!"
