Dai Mubai helped Ma Hongjun obtain a Soul Ring, clashed with Tang San over Yu Xiaogang’s training, and secretly took the Eight Spider Lances for Zhu Zhuqing. He then harvested the Icefire Yin Yang Well’s treasures, killed Dugu Bo, reached level fifty, and returned to find Shrek’s training ground empty.
Dai Mubai left Shrek Academy, gathered allies and the three clans, and built support for his bid to become Crown Prince. After strengthening the Star Luo royal family and forming a new tournament team, he began training them as tensions with Dai Weisi mounted.

Dai Mubai helped forge an alliance against Spirit Hall, returned to Star Luo City, and led his team through the promotion matches to Spirit City. As the finals began, he defeated Plant Academy and secretly arranged to capture Xiao Wu, while the Star Luo teams and Spirit Hall advanced toward a confrontation.
Dai Mubai led the Star Luo Royal Academy Second Team to victory in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Tournament, then survived Spirit Hall’s ambush and Tang Xiao’s poisoned attack on the road home. The Soul Bones remained with Dai Mubai, while Bibi Dong shifted Spirit Hall’s attention toward the Heaven Dou Empire and the Upper Three Sects.
Dai Mubai secured the Crown Prince’s position, strengthened his companions, and gained a second Martial Soul after defeating the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger. After helping his allies obtain new Soul Rings and preparing them for his absence, he entered Slaughter City to begin its trials.
