Qian Chen stopped before the Throne.
The divine thought arrived again.
"Ascend the Throne and you will be able to rule over the Nine Great Elements."
"Having inherited the name of the God King, one must Divine Realm."
Are you willing?
Qian Chen raised his hand and grasped the armrest of the Throne.
I don't follow the old order.
I will restore order.
The Nine-Colored Divine Light suddenly spread out.
The laws governing all parts of the Divine Realm trembled simultaneously.
The Nine Elements, which were originally scattered, began to converge towards the center.
The flames of the Fire God Temple died down and then rose again.
The long river outside the Water God Temple flows upstream.
Above the Thunder God Temple, all the lightning bolts simultaneously ceased.
The laws of wind, earth, light, darkness, space, and time also submitted to the Nine-Color Throne at the same moment.
Qian Chen sat down.
Dragon wings unfurled from behind the Throne.
Nine divine rings descended one after another behind him.
His aura surpassed that of First-Level God.
Beyond the Supreme God.
Finally, it stopped at the God King Realm.
The divine power of the Nine-Color spread from the center of the Divine Realm.
All the statues in the temples bowed their heads at the same time.
The gods of the Divine Realm looked up at the central Throne.
They saw a white figure.
Her long, silvery-white hair cascaded down her shoulders.
The center of the golden hair crown is inlaid with Nine-Color Crystal.
Dragon wings unfurled behind him, and nine divine rings slowly began to rotate.
Qian Chen raised his hand.
A Nine-Color Divine Spear materialized in his palm.
The gun barrel fell.
The old law stele in the center of the Divine Realm split open from the middle.
"From this day forward, the Divine Realm will no longer determine rank based on bloodline."
"Those who lack strength can cultivate."
"Those whose positions are vacant can strive for them."
"No deity may interfere with the mortal realm without authorization."
His voice resounded throughout the Divine Realm.
No deity objected.
Nine-Colored Divine Light has already covered every temple.
Qian Chen put away the Dragon God Spear and looked at the three people beside him.
"Are you willing to remain in the Divine Realm?"
Qian Renxue grasped his hand.
Wherever you are, I will be there.
Ice Empress leaned on his left shoulder.
I don't care about the Divine Realm or the mortal realm.
"As long as Chen'er is with me, that's enough."
Snow Empress raised her hand to straighten his collar.
"The Throne is too high."
If you're uncomfortable sitting, get up and walk around.
Qian Chen looked at her for a moment.
He then rose from his Throne.
The Nine-Color Throne transformed into light and was absorbed into his divine position.
He took Qian Renxue's hand and then let Ice Empress hug his arm.
The Snow Empress straightened his cloak, and the four of them descended the divine steps together.
In the center of the Divine Realm, a new palace is rising.
There are no statues of gods on the temple gate.
Only the Nine-Color Dragon Mark.
Qian Renxue gazed towards the palace.
"Brother, will this place become your temple from now on?"
"It's ours too."
Qian Chen raised his hand and pushed open the palace door.
There was no empty Throne inside the palace.
There was only a long table, a few jade cups, and a soft couch placed by the window.
Ice Empress immediately went inside.
She looked around and pointed to the seat by the window.
"Chen'er, I want to stay there."
Snow Empress walked to the window and straightened the curtains.
"You can see the Milky Way here."
Qian Renxue took out a golden hairpin and placed it on the table.
"My brother changes his hairpin every day."
Qian Chen looked at the desktop.
The three people's belongings had already been placed in the hall.
A white jade hairpin, a jade hairpin in turquoise, a golden hair crown, and a packet of new tea.
Outside the Divine Realm, the Nine-Color Star River flows slowly.
Qian Chen walked to the window.
He gazed at the laws in the distance that had stabilized again, and raised his hand to gather his divine sense.
All changes in the Divine Realm were completely under his control.
At this moment, he was able to manipulate not only Nine Elements.
Even the laws of the Divine Realm are now connected to his divine position.
The Dragon God Divinity is now fully established.
The power of the God King truly returned to himself.
Qian Renxue hugged his arm from behind.
"Elder brother."
"Um?"
"After becoming the God King, will you still drink tea with us?"
Qian Chen turned around.
He reached out and removed a crooked gold ornament from her hair.
"Meeting."
Ice Empress immediately moved closer.
Will you still eat chestnut cake with me?
"Meeting."
Snow Empress picked up the teapot and poured tea for each of the four people.
That's good.
Qian Chen sat down by the window.
Qian Renxue sat to his right.
Ice Empress hugged his left arm.
Snow Empress sat opposite him and pushed a teacup in front of him.
Nine-Colored Divine Light fell on the table.
A small ripple spread across the tea.
Beyond the Divine Realm, countless stars silently revolve.
The new God King was already seated by the window, sharing a cup of tea with the three of them.
As the aroma of tea dissipated from the temple, the Milky Way outside the window had already moved across half the sky.
Qian Chen placed the empty teacup back on the table.
Snow Empress sat opposite him, the book beside her still on the same page.
Her fingertips pressed against the edge of the paper, and her long, silvery-white hair fell from her shoulder onto her clothes.
Qian Chen reached out and gently gathered her hair.
"You've been watching for a long time, and you still haven't finished?"
Books don't have legs; they can't run away.
Snow Empress raised her eyes.
"You've only just become the God King; you should give yourself some time."
"I've already rested."
Drinking tea doesn't count as taking a break.
She closed the book and placed it on the corner of the table.
Qian Chen picked up the teapot and poured her half a cup of warm tea.
Snow Empress glanced at the tea in her cup but did not pick it up immediately.
Don't look at the laws of the Divine Realm tonight.
I have no intention of going.
"They don't even bother to tidy up the temple."
"I have no plans to."
She looked at him, as if to make sure he hadn't just agreed casually this time.
Qian Chen placed her hands on the table, palms facing up.
You can check.
Snow Empress reached out and placed her hand on his wrist.
She used her divine sense to probe his meridians, confirming that the Nine-Color Divine Power was circulating smoothly, before withdrawing her hand.
"No divine power was secretly activated."
I promised you.
That's good.
She picked up her teacup and took a sip.
Qian Chen stared at the teacup in her hand.
The tea has gone cold.
"I can still drink."
"I'll get you a new pot."
He stood up, but after taking only two steps, Snow Empress grabbed his sleeve.
"Sit down for a while."
Qian Chen looked down at her hands.
Her fingertips didn't exert any force, but they didn't loosen their grip either.
You just said you wanted to rest.
"Surgery is on break."
He sat back down next to her.
Snow Empress placed the teacup aside and gently leaned her shoulder against his arm.
She was wearing a light silver dress today, with tiny snow patterns embroidered on the neckline.
The sleeves of her long dress were neatly gathered, and she wore only a thin silver bracelet on her wrist.
Qian Chen lowered his hand and smoothed out the folded corner of her sleeve.
She didn't look at him, but simply turned another page in the book.
"You can continue watching now."
Are you still watching?
"Just sitting here with you counts as watching."
"Then I'll read it."
Snow Empress handed the book to him.
Qian Chen took the book, read two lines, and then stopped.
She looked up at him.
"Why did you stop reading?"
"You weren't reading."
"I'm listening."
Her eyes remained fixed on his face, not looking away.
Qian Chen put the book back on the table.
"Then I won't read it."
Snow Empress did not object.
She leaned against him, her fingertips gently fiddling with his cuffs.
The starlight outside the palace streamed through the window lattice and fell on the overlapping sleeves of the two people.
Qian Chen turned his face and saw a faint light reflected in her eyes.
"Snow Sister."
"Um?"
I'll sleep with you tonight.
She paused for a moment.
"You spend time with me on ordinary days too."
"I won't read tonight, nor will I discuss matters of the Divine Realm."
"So what do you want to do?"
"I'll lie down with you for a while."
Snow Empress gazed at him for a moment.
"Finish your tea first."
Qian Chen glanced at the teacup on the table.
The tea has gone cold.
"Then let's get a hot pot."
She stood up and walked towards the tea table.
Qian Chen followed and took the teapot from her hand.
"I'll do it."
You already said you would change my tea.
"Pay now."
He boiled water again and brought out a clean teacup.
Snow Empress stood to the side, tidying up the silver hair that had fallen over his shoulders.
Her fingers ran slowly and carefully through her hair.
Qian Chen lowered her head slightly, making it easier for her to gather her long hair.
You were quite obedient today.
"Let me rest."
So you're just going to do nothing?
I'm making you some tea.
This isn't doing nothing.
She tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear.
You don't have to do everything for me.
"I do."
Snow Empress glanced at him but didn't try to persuade him further.
The hot tea was brewed quickly.
Qian Chen handed the teacup to her and waited for her to take a few sips before putting the rest of the teapot away.
When the two left the tea table, the book remained on it.
Snow Empress did not turn back to get it.
Qian Chen saw it, but didn't remind her.
They walked along the corridor of the inner sanctuary.
The lamps on both sides emitted a soft light, illuminating the faint Nine-Color patterns on the wall.
Upon reaching the entrance to her bedchamber, the Snow Empress stopped in her tracks.
She reached out and unfastened the silver clasp on Qian Chen's cloak around his neck.
"Take off your outer clothes first."
"I can do it myself."
"I know."
She took his cloak off his shoulders, folded it, and placed it on a clothes rack nearby.
Qian Chen untied the jade belt around her waist and changed into the white robe she usually wore when resting.
Snow Empress also went behind the screen, changed out of her light silver dress, and put on a plain white nightgown.
Her sleeves were loose, and the neckline was gently tied with a thin ribbon.
The silver clasp on her long hair had been removed, and her smooth hair fell behind her shoulders, with the ends reaching her waist.
Qian Chen took a wooden comb from beside the dressing table.
Snow Empress sat in front of the mirror, with her back to him.
"Comb my hair."
"Good."
He stood behind her, parted her long hair into several strands, and began combing from the ends.
The comb fell slowly without pulling on the hair.
Snow Empress looked at himself in the mirror.
When did you learn to comb your hair like that?
"I've practiced during this period."
"So you'd comb my hair?"
"Um."
Her gaze lingered on his face.
"So how many times did you practice?"
"I can't remember."
"Is it that you can't remember, or that you're unwilling to tell me?"
"Many times."
Snow Empress did not ask any further questions.
Qian Chen gathered her combed long hair behind her shoulder and took out the white jade hairpin.
He gently inserted the hairpin into his hair, making sure the ends weren't pinned down, before withdrawing his hand.
Snow Empress raised her hand and touched the hairpin.
"The fit is just right."
It won't be gone when you wake up tomorrow morning.
"You've thought of everything."
She stood up, turned around, and straightened his collar.
Qian Chen lowered her head so that she could see the front of her clothes.
Snow Empress's fingers smoothed out a crease along the collar of his shirt, then stopped on his chest.
Do you feel tired today?
"No."
"From the mortal realm to the Divine Realm, and then to inheriting the God King Position, how could it not be exhausting?"
"I wasn't tired anymore when I leaned against you just now."
She looked up at him.
Qian Chen reached out and took her fingers in his hand.
You should get some rest too.
I was planning to rest tonight anyway.
"Then I'll stay with you."
"You've already said that."
Snow Empress grasped his hand and led him to the bedside.
The bedding on the bed had been neatly arranged, and a soft pillow was placed on the outside.
She first sat on the edge of the bed and raised her hand to lift the corner of the blanket.
Qian Chen looked at her.
"I sleep on the outside?"
Which side do you want to sleep on?
"By your side."
Snow Empress put the blanket back in place, a slight smile appearing on her lips.
"Then sleep next to me."
Qian Chen took off his shoes and sat down next to her.
She moved the soft pillows to the center of the bed, leaving room for the two of them to sit side by side.
He reached out and pulled the blanket off her, and only after she was settled did he lie down on the other side himself.
There was a short distance between the two.
Snow Empress reached out and pulled the blanket over his shoulder.
Don't hold your hand down.
"Knew."
Qian Chen pulled her hand out from under the covers and placed it beside her pillow.
She turned around to face him.
The white jade hairpin was still in her hair, and a few strands of her long hair were scattered on the pillow.
He reached out and brushed the strands of hair that had fallen to the side of her face.
Snow Empress raised her hand and pressed it against the back of his hand.
Don't mess it up.
"I'll just tidy it up for you."
"It's all sorted out."
She didn't let go.
Qian Chen then left his hand under her palm.
Their fingertips touched, and warmth seeped through the thin fabric.
The Milky Way outside the window slowly shifts.
A beam of starlight fell through the edge of the curtains and shone on Snow Empress's hair.
She looked at Qian Chen, her eyes reflecting that faint light.
"Are you going to deal with matters concerning the Divine Realm tomorrow?"
"I can go later."
"Things at the temple aren't urgent."
"Then I won't go."
You don't have to accommodate me.
I want to stay with you.
Snow Empress pulled his hand closer and placed it between them.
"Then sleep with me tonight."
"Good."
Don't sit up to look at the Milky Way.
"Good."
"And don't secretly adjust your breathing."
"Good."
If you wake up, go back to sleep.
"I'll do as you say."
She looked at him, as if she wanted to confirm something more.
"Real?"
Qian Chen nodded.
"Real."
Snow Empress finally relaxed.
She moved closer, pressing her forehead gently against his shoulder.
Qian Chen raised his hand and stopped behind her.
Can I hug you?
"You're only asking now?"
I want to hear your own answer.
"Can."
His hand landed on her shoulder, gently encircling her through her nightgown.
Snow Empress leaned into his arms and pressed her face against his chest.
Her long hair was spread out between the two of them, with the ends falling onto his wrist.
Qian Chen gently brushed her hair away from her sleeve to prevent it from getting stuck.
She looked up at him.
You're always worried about your hair being pressed down.
"Are you worried you won't be able to comb your hair tomorrow morning?"
"Then I'll comb it again tomorrow morning."
"Let me sort it out for you now."
Snow Empress did not stop her.
He gathered her long hair behind her shoulder to one side, and with his other hand pulled the corner of the blanket over her shoulder.
She reached out and placed her hand on his lapel, her fingertips gently pressing against a small line.
You still need to comb my hair tomorrow.
"Good."
"You must have tea with me too."
"Good."
"If I'm reading, you sit next to me."
"Good."
She rested her face back on his shoulder.
"You agreed so quickly, is it just so I can go to sleep early?"
"No."
"So what are you thinking?"
I want to hold you while I sleep.
Snow Empress remained silent for a while.
She wrapped her arms around his waist and gently pulled them closer.
"Then hold him."
Qian Chen remained silent.
He adjusted the pillows to make her more comfortable.
Her breathing gradually became steady.
Qian Chen looked down at the top of her head, and gently placed his hand on the back of her shoulder.
A moment later, her fingertips were still resting on his lapel.
He didn't remove her hand, but simply tucked the blanket in.
