In the study on the top floor of the Cristiano Family's old manor, Green sat behind a massive solid-wood desk, reading with rapt attention.

An ancient, weighty magic book lay open before him. It was a family heirloom of the Cristiano Family, recording many ancient secrets, along with some Necromancy and Magic Arrays. Now that Cristiano had become Green's subordinate, these books had naturally become his property as well.

By the gentle light of the Magic Lamp, Green's gaze moved slowly across the yellowed parchment pages. One mysterious magic rune after another sank into his mind, while intricate Magic Arrays were analyzed and broken down into the most basic magical symbols...

At the same time, in the Magic Guild within the Graveyard, magic runes and incomplete arrays gradually surfaced on the pages of the magic book spread open in the hall.

Several hours later, when Green closed Cristiano's magic book, the Magic Guild in the Graveyard had already recorded six new spells. Of those six new spells, however, Green was interested in only one—Corpse Explosion!

It was a spell that detonated a corpse, instantly converting its flesh and bones into energy before producing a violent explosion.
