There was no denying it: the three angels the Skeleton Lord had killed in an instant had been brutally mangled. The Flame Greatsword Angel's body was relatively intact, but her head had been utterly smashed. The Ice Mage Angel's torso had been torn apart by the impact. The Kobold Zombies had finally managed to find her arms, legs, and head amid the rubble, but all that remained of her torso was a breastplate flattened almost into sheet metal, with some pulpy flesh trapped inside. Almost every bone in the toughest of them, the Shield Warrior Angel, had been shattered. Her left arm and shoulder, along with half her body, had been completely pulverized, leaving a horrifying wound with charred edges.
Green looked at the three mangled corpses, deeply uneasy. With the bodies damaged to this extent, he had no idea whether the Graveyard could restore them by spending psychic energy.
Back in the Graveyard, Green immediately checked the condition of the three angel corpses. To his relief, the Graveyard's notification said they could all be repaired as long as he paid the psychic energy cost. The price, however, made him wince. Repairing the three mangled angel corpses would cost more than seven thousand psychic energy in total!
Green considered it for a moment, then checked the Graveyard's psychic energy balance again. Disheartened, he could only abandon the idea of repairing the three angel corpses.
Although he could not turn them into fighting strength for now, acquiring those three angel corpses was still a tremendous gain. For a necromancer, resources like these were the rarest of treasures. All he needed to do now was save up enough psychic energy, and he would gain three powerful level-six heroes.
Beyond that, another major gain was the skeleton of the other Skeleton Lord, which
