The spellbook contained two spells, [Eye of Spirit Sight] and [Enter the Spirit World]. However, the two had to be used together; combined, they became the fifth-circle spell [Shadow Flash].
[Eye of Spirit Sight] was an advanced version of [Death Spirit Sight]. Death Spirit Sight could only see the surface of the Spirit World, whereas Eye of Spirit Sight could peer deeper and find the connecting fissures between reality and the Spirit World. Combined with [Enter the Spirit World], it allowed the caster to cross the boundary between the physical and the ethereal, spiritualize their body, and enter the Spirit World. From there, swiftly returning to reality through another fissure and appearing at a predetermined location constituted Shadow Flash.
Of all supernatural professions, Necromancers were the only ones capable of spiritualizing their bodies. However, this came with a side effect: after spiritualizing their bodies and entering the Spirit World, they would suffer erosion from negative Psychic Energy, accelerating their bodies' transformation into undead. This was very difficult to avoid, and it was also why most Necromancers ultimately could not escape the fate of becoming Liches.
Green, however, could disregard this side effect entirely. His body had already begun irreversible lichification; it was only a matter of time, so there was no need to agonize over it further. Instead, these two spells opened a door to an entirely new realm for him.
Green's [Death Spirit Sight] was already at a fairly high level, so he quickly learned the advanced [Eye of Spirit Sight]. Death Spirit Sight in his attributes panel changed to [Eye of Spirit Sight lv1].
Green felt some discomfort around his eyes, a tingling itch as though something had grown there. He felt around with his fingers but found nothing unusual. With a thought, Green activated Eye of Spirit
