Absolute Divine Domain (2)

In the Graveyard, Green was everywhere. Of course he heard Hard's anguished shout. Though he still had not received the two of them, he committed those eight words to memory and kept turning them over in his mind.

Only now, as he sensed the mighty force descending from the Nature God's Divine Kingdom—a force capable of manipulating [Time] and [Space]—did inspiration strike. Suddenly, he understood.

That power undoubtedly came from the God of Nature. Yet the god's Divine Power held none of the vitality Green would have expected. Instead, it was steeped in deathly stillness and cold. Coupled with the prophecy that "the Old God falls, the New King is born," it sparked a horrifying thought: Could it be... could the God of Nature really have fallen?

Once the thought occurred to him, it was as though a leaf had been lifted from his eyes. He could sense ever more clearly the languid, deathly aura seeping from the Nature God's Divine Kingdom.

Unfortunately, the Divine Power left behind by the God of Nature suppressed everyone else. Only Green, with a sliver of his consciousness anchored in the Graveyard, remained clearheaded enough to notice anything amiss. Even someone as powerful as Director Hiddink had his mind clouded. By the time he came to his senses, the Divine Power from the Nature God's Divine Kingdom had already withdrawn.

Green's expression turned grave as he surveyed his surroundings.

Nearby, apart from Green and Lola, only a little over twenty people remained: a dozen or so ordinary soldiers, three members of the Knights Order, and three people from an Anomalies Bureau branch in some unknown city.
