264 Death Angel (3)

Bathed in the radiance of Divinity, the Holy Light Angel flared with blinding light. The burst lasted only an instant before it gradually dimmed.

Green controlled only the damaged Divinity of the God of Nature, but it still held an inherent advantage over the Holy Light within the Holy Light Angel. The Lord of Light was certainly greater in rank and strength than the God of Nature, but the Holy Light Angel was merely a low-tier Divine Artifact touched by a trace of that great being's presence. It could not resist true Divinity, any more than even the mightiest ant could move a wounded Great Dragon.

Moments later, the blinding light of the Holy Light Angel had been completely extinguished by the wash of Divinity. Green could no longer sense a trace of Holy Light within it.

"Did it finally work?" Green's spirits lifted, and he immediately checked its attributes:

???? (Damaged), Alchemical Construct [lv8], Combat Power [???], Skills: Swordsmanship Master [lv9], Divine Power Blessing [lv2], False Divinity [lv0]...

A notification appeared: Unknown [lv8] Alchemical Construct discovered. Status: Damaged [12.3%]. Repair requires [1300] Psychic Energy. Repair?

Stripping away all its Holy Light had inevitably damaged the Holy Light Angel again, more severely than the earlier battle had. Without Holy Light, it could no longer be called the Holy Light Angel. Its name in the attributes panel had become a string of question marks, and so had its combat power. Even more unexpectedly, a new skill had appeared after the original two—False Divinity!

Green guessed that prolonged exposure to the radiance of Divinity had caused some kind of mutation in the Alchemical Construct, giving rise to a new skill.

For now, though, the skill was only [lv0]. He could not use it yet and would need to understand it
