Now that the Behemoth had switched targets, Green could finally catch his breath.
The Behemoth charged Cyrabelle. It was still more than ten meters away when a fierce gust whipped her long hair and mage's robe into a frenzy. Over those last dozen meters, its speed suddenly doubled. Psychic Energy gathered around its claws, and razor-sharp wind blades erupted from their tips.
The next instant, bang! One swipe of the Behemoth's claw sent Cyrabelle flying dozens of meters.
Fortunately, at the last possible moment, a huge translucent shield of light appeared before Cyrabelle and blocked the attack. Even so, she was knocked into the air like a giant ball. The Behemoth was not done. Seeing its enemy fly backward, it tensed the muscles in its legs and launched itself from the ground with a boom, rising like a Rocket. In the blink of an eye, it drew level with Cyrabelle, swung its massive claw again, and sent her flying with another bang!
Watching the battle change in the snap of a finger through the Death Angel's eyes, Green was startled by the Behemoth's speed. It had not even gone all out against him!
