Cyrabelle paced slowly, frowning. It sounded far-fetched, but the more she thought about it, the more plausible it seemed. After so many years as opponents, she knew Sebolutes. Faced with a disadvantage, Sebolutes would never fail to strike back. She had the nerve to devise a plan like this and carry it out in secret. It would not be hard to verify, either. A covert search of the Royal Palace would do; fifteen thousand soldiers were not easy to hide. No one had noticed before because no one had thought to look there. Who would imagine an army hidden inside the very symbol of the Kingdom's supreme authority?
As time passed, Cyrabelle's steps slowed. Her initial shock and excitement gradually gave way to calm. She sat down again behind her desk and fixed Green with an intense stare. "You brought this to light. What do you think we should do?"
Green already had an answer. "Turn their plan against them. Our biggest advantage right now is that we know what they're planning and they don't know we know. If we use that well, we can hit them hard enough to make the Rune People feel it. And if all thirty thousand troops really are Rune People, things will get interesting..."
Cyrabelle did not agree at once. She closed her eyes and fell silent.
Green said nothing either. He waited patiently for her decision. The opportunity was right in front of them; it was up to Cyrabelle to choose.
A few minutes later, Cyrabelle opened her eyes. "This is a good opportunity. We have to teach the Rune People a lesson. It does go against our original intention to abandon this Void World, but that's a tactical matter. If we win, I doubt His Majesty or the Grand Duke will mind
