Green held on to a sliver of hope, but the result brought him no surprise. The Death Angel Clone remained stuck at High-Level Legendary. Its combat power had reached [9999], the limit of Legendary Rank, yet it could not cross that threshold. Still, there were gains as well as losses. Green discovered that although the Death Angel had not advanced to Calamity Rank, its skill level had risen. Divine Power Blessing had gone from [lv2] to [lv3]. It consumed more Divine Power Crystals, but could unleash [15000] combat power in an instant—equivalent to Early Calamity Rank.
The False Divine Core, which had long remained at [lv0], had also risen to [lv1]. Green had yet to figure out what the skill did. He tried activating it several times, but nothing happened. He would have to investigate further.

The Holy Light Church was simply too powerful for Green to provoke right now. A few covert moves were one thing; openly standing against that behemoth was another. People who did that rarely met a good end. Even someone as powerful as Grand Duke Mora
