The dark figure moved at incredible speed, diving from the sky with two pairs of black wings spread wide. Gripping a blazing red Flame Greatsword in both hands, she struck the ground in the blink of an eye with a boom. Flames sprayed everywhere as she drove the blade into the earth, unleashing a powerful shock wave that raced outward and sent everyone nearby sprawling. Only Simonado stood unmoved. He glared grimly at the Flame Angel who had descended from the sky, but he could not keep fear from showing in his eyes.
Devout as he was, and convinced he was a Chosen One favored by the God of Nature, Simonado was, in the end, only Mid-Level Legendary. Facing a Flame Angel a full tier above him, it was hardly possible for him to remain unafraid.
But the next instant, Simonado's eyes turned red. "Stop! Let her go!" he roared. Green divine light bloomed in his hand, but he did not aim it at Holly, the Flame Angel. He hurled it at Pradas, the Daughter of the Sea God, who had been thrown aside.
