Colonel Zilabeka had known about Number Three for a long time. For certain reasons, he had even dealt with him before, and he knew just how powerful and devious Number Three was.

When he learned that someone was targeting Mrs. Cassel, he immediately suspected one of Number Three's schemes. Unfortunately, Number Three came and went like a ghost and could take on many forms. "Exactly what I said. Number Three is dead. No one will harm Mrs. Cassel, so you can rest easy for now. As for anything else, I can't make promises." Green spoke as though it were nothing, but the pupils of both Colonel Zilabeka and Mrs. Cassel contracted. Someone as powerful as Number Three was dead!

From Green's tone, it even sounded as though he had killed Number Three himself. They couldn't be sure, but the more they thought about it, the more unfathomable the man before them seemed.

Only after leaving the apartment did Colonel Zilabeka and Mrs. Cassel both let out long breaths. They exchanged a glance, then climbed into a carriage.
