Green could see an unmistakable conservative streak in this gifted royal's character from the way Princess Mulesina made her Bone Dragons.
It was hardly surprising. Born into the Royal Family and gifted from childhood, Princess Mulesina had gotten almost everything she wanted. It was clear she hated failure, too.
As Green thought this over, he watched the two Bone Dragons, curious as puppies. Feeling a rare urge to tease them, he released the Dragon Lich Hill Morleti with a thought.
A huge Portal opened, and a silver-gray dragon's head poked through. Hill Morleti spotted two Bone Dragons even larger than he was, but Green had just told him they were not enemies. Disappointed, he crawled out reluctantly, spread his wings, and took flight with a deafening roar.
The two Bone Dragons, so lively a moment ago, froze at the sound. Fear flickered in the green soul fire filling their eye sockets.
Though the foundations of the Bone Dragons' souls were two Hounds with extraordinary abilities, and training had freed them from ordinary canine instincts, the fear etched deep in their souls still showed when they faced a Dragon Lich with a true Dragon Soul.
"What a fine dragon!" A rich female voice came from inside Green's carriage.
Green had just sensed a ripple of Psychic Energy. He drew his gaze down from the sky and looked across the carriage.
The figure of a beautiful young woman in an opulent Court Gown slowly changed from a shadow into solid form. Her skin was fair, and her hair was silver.
"A pleasure to meet you, Your Highness.
