Only a year had passed, and such a vast territory could hardly have been easy to sort out. The nobles and local powers already entrenched there were no easy opponents.
When Princess Mulesina had first arrived in Void World 26, she had learned that the hard way. Those wretches obeyed her every word to her face, then called her a clueless little girl behind her back and mocked her policies and plans. She had been so furious that she smashed through a window, grabbed one of them, and snapped the neck of the loudmouthed, balding, greasy Viscount with the bulbous red nose.
Judging by her own experience, Princess Mulesina assumed Green would run into similar trouble.
In fact, some people in Green's Ducal Territory had tried just that. Unfortunately for them, they were dealing with Green. He handed the matter straight to Viscount Paul and sent Bone Dragon Rider Aliotega along with two thousand armed Skeleton Soldiers. At the first sign of trouble, they gave a warning. At the second, they wiped the offenders out.
Viscount Paul was an old fox who knew every trick and scheme the nobles might try, making him the perfect man for the job. Green simply left it all in his hands.
