South of Flower Town stood a building that looked nothing like the rest of the town. It resembled a fairy-tale castle, small but beautiful.
Now, however, a crowd had gathered outside the little castle, along with two carriages. Several burly men were loading luggage onto them.
On the castle steps, a well-dressed young woman watched languidly. "Mr. Xavier, when can we leave?" she asked impatiently.
A middle-aged man dressed as a butler answered respectfully, "Very soon, miss. Twenty minutes at most..." Before he could finish, more than a dozen fully armed knights galloped toward the carriages. Mounted on tall horses, they made an imposing sight. They reined in a few yards away and came to a halt in perfect unison.
The young woman and Butler Xavier were both startled. The laborers carrying the luggage stopped work and stared at the knights in fear.
"Are you Miss Tina?" The lead knight looked coldly at the young woman on the steps. "Your father, Mr. McCain, sent us to collect you."
Tina looked puzzled. She turned to Butler Xavier, a question in her eyes.
Xavier stepped in front of her. "Sorry, gentlemen," he said coldly. "You must have the wrong people. We don't know Mr. McCain. He lives next door." He pointed to a four-story mansion not far from the castle.
Green and Glasses Woman had just reached the mansion's entrance and were watching.
The lead knight remained unmoved. "You still think you can play dumb? We're already here. You won't bluff your way out of this."
Xavier's face grew grave. In truth, he had known the moment he saw the knights that they would not get away safely today. With a bitter smile, he said, "You dogs of the Holy Light Church have sharp noses. You even found us here."
