Green frowned slightly. This Spirit World Traversal had taken him an extraordinary distance, even bringing him to the edge of the Spirit World as he knew it. There, he saw a dazzling river of stars, surging and churning without end. Even from afar, its overwhelming power made him feel small and frail.
Is that the Nightmare World, even more mysterious and dangerous than the Spirit World? Green wondered.
The Nightmare World was no secret. Like the Spirit World, its name was familiar to many who had stepped into the supernatural. But very few had ever seen it. Even Calamity Rank powerhouses rarely caught a glimpse, much less entered it.
The Nightmare World was perilous. Formed from the dreams of countless living beings, it was a mysterious realm between illusion and reality, with no logic, laws, time, or space. Only Deities could use special methods to send their will into it and deliver Divine Oracles.
Green had not expected this traversal to bring him to the edge of the Nightmare World. It made him even more curious about the Abyss Club. What sort of organization could be so well hidden?
Then, in a moment of distraction, Green lost focus. The distance between him and the Nightmare World suddenly shrank dramatically.
If the Graveyard had not warned him, he would never have noticed the danger. He snapped awake to find that he had strayed from his coordinates. If he failed to correct his course in time, the Nightmare World would drag him in within three minutes.
Green narrowed his eyes. He understood now: the Abyss Club's chairman was testing him. It was a test of will and mental strength. Only those who passed could truly join the club. Those who failed could die. That was how Demon Warlocks operated.
Abyss Club... Green
